It doesn’t seen to attract any flies. The bait was easy enough to sprinkle on, but not even fruit flies are attracted to mine. The liquid one caught flies immediately and only smelled slightly of an oatmeal like smell. That is also an in door fly catcher. They are more costly, but actually work right away. This is more attractive to look at, but it doesn’t work. It wasn’t hard to put together after reading the instructions a couple of times. The liquid one is a just add water after adding a bait powder into a small jug type. That was very simple. The green stuff doesn’t attract flies thus the whole thing is pointless. I even tried placing a small piece of watermelon near the thing to see if maybe they would land on the adhesive anyway….didn’t work.Save your money and try something else.
