Kissing my husband began to be embarrassing because I could tell he could feel how dry my lips were. No matter how much water I drank, or different lip balms I tried, nothing seemed to work. I kept hearing and seeing ads for lip masks, I'm assuming because I wouldn't shut up about how much they hurt lol, but they were just out of budget for me. I can't justify spending 30$ on a lip balm for chapped lips. So, I decided to opt for this brand because the reviews seemed trustworthy, and the price was decent enough to where I wouldn't be too disappointed if it didn't work. When I received the package, I did receive 3 in a box. I did notice how small they were, but expected them to be because of the reviews. However, the size of the container is not a hinderance, a little goes a very long way, and because it is so small, it's easy for me to take one with me in my purse just incase. When I initially put it on, it didn't feel like it would do much of anything. There's no feeling of "mint" or "refreshness" you might feel with certain lip balms, but I know now that it's just to trick you into thinking it's working. The first night I put it on right before bed, and woke up to see that my lips started to peel off the dead flakey skin. I resisted my urge to self exfoliate (bite the skin off), and applied another coat that morning. After repeating applications morning and night for a couple days, I noticed a significant change in how my lips felt. My husband started to notice as well (gasp)! More so he started asking for applications too when he saw me putting it on. My lips right now are the softest they've been in a really long time. Whenever I forget an application, I start to feel the skin on my lips begin to separate like they could begin to crack soon, I just apply and it instantly goes away. I'm not sure if my cracked lips will be with me my while life, but this product has been the only thing that has helped, and honestly I'm grateful. I would 100% buy this again.
