Incredible scale of combat
Eight massive collected volumes in. Dark horse comics has continued to deliver a great collected Gantz omnibus after omnibus. The scale of gory spectacle continues the combat from the last volume as the two very different teams take on a massive amount of aliens in ghoul forms from traditional Japanese myths with their own unique twists on their abilities. No one is safe in Gantz and this volume shows what is attainable with multiple 100pt clears as well as how tough the enemies become to this who have done so. There's a whole lot of horrific things in volume eight and a bit of people trying their best to save others from that same horror. Highly recommend and I can't wait to read what happens when/if they survive this round of aliens. (Personally not reading ahead in the smaller volumes)
