There's no proof even though the listing claims they're drawers.** A: These are kind of made of softer flexible plastic that you bend into the shape of a box and it has a door feature. NOT a DRAWER. Check out Sterilite and similar drawers usually under 6 quart stacking drawers which might work better for you. That's what I'm using in an RV closet next to other Sterilite stacking drawers that mate on top of one another in 16 and 27 Quart. So if you need big drawers like for 12-14 size shoes the 16 qt size might be something for you to look into. Otherwise I use the 6 size not for shoes but for crafts and to keep my special room for some exercise and equipment and materials for fighting some health isssues. Mind you another great option is the sterilite three high medium drawers they are often called. Come in weave opague and also white or black framed transparent. I make towers out of them. I mean TALL Towers. Take them all apart and rebuild into towers. I have three sets of 5 high drawers side by side plus another set that's 6 high and still another 8 high for keeping sewing and patterns and many other items organized. We redid our bathroom a few years ago and I now have two of the weave in cement color with 4 half drawers bought from Target and remade into these towers. All have wheels but no longer do the weave come with wheels. They used to but for some reason they stopped including them. I have so many of these and traded out brown weave to the cement that I have just enough wheels that I made it work since making them into towers also spread what wheels I had across all I needed reconstructed. Thinking outside the box so to speak. But nothings better than drawers when you are talking tower storage. **Q: I wear a size 12& I didn't notice that they only hold a certain size shoe. Idk... Sort of like the thick plastic they used to make bill and file organizers out of? But the front and back are hard plastic and the doors fit well.They are folded flat when they arrive, and then you fold the plastic into a rectangular box, and snap the front and back on. They are so easy to assemble. I did all 12 and stacked them in like 30 minutes. I took an extra 30 minutes to add : the thin duck brand double sided tape between the white doors and backs to stick them together, (I did not use the prongs), and thick 3m brand double side tape (1 short piece across the vertical interior side center to stick them together side by side by row, then a long vertical piece across the center to stick rows together horizontally). This is not necessary but I am using these for toy storage. I did not want the open holes where the plastic prongs are located, and I did not want my kiddo to be able to pick them up and move them around.They are much sturdier than I expected. And when I opened the box to find the thin plastic I was initially disappointed, but once I got them together I was really impressed. Are they dresser quality strength? No. But they cost 35-40 bucks... I mean... What are people expecting, really?I bought 2 more sets. One for the bathroom and one for my craft room.Size... I have not measured them. They will fit a size 13/14 shoe, though it will bow the door a bit in the middle. My kiddos large cardboard puzzles fit great, and they would fit several of my 54-72 count large eyeshadow palates with no problem.
