For this reason I returned it because that was going too far in simplicity. how can you mix music not knowing what you have coming up next? It's a useful media player, but there are cheaper products for that. The CD mixing side is fine and with practice you can do a good job. At this price point it's a fair unit and nicely made. For people prepared to really work out the best processes and make good preparation it is capable of professional DJ work and a lot of fun to use. However on that point the industry has moved on to better solutions. If you want a fun, nicely made and affordable CD mixer, media player I'd say yes. I tried putting my tracks at root level on the USB, but still no titles to read. Working from a printed sheet of paper as track reference was too easy to get confused with. I didn't try the BT function but for those with PA that can't be directly connected to, this is a great feature making the unit an XLR RCA music hub. It scores highly overall for a good balance of features and nice build quality.
