The tag uses cell signals from other Samsung devices that are nearby to get you an accurate location sent to your phone. **Q: Why is the price $22? is this a new product & is it a genuine samsung smart tag?** A: I'm not sure why the price is $22 but it's worth it for me! It's a genuine Samsung tag and it has literally saved me so many times I lose my keys so often with my ADHD and it's my only set of keys! Those cost $400 to replace so the $22 for this tag is sooo worth it and also ignore the person saying it doesn't come with a battery it does come with batteries already installed and I've had mine for over 6 months battery hasn't died yet. **Q: Can i track my kids when school bus pickup?** A: IF your kids have the SmartTag and IF they or someone nearby has a Samsung product (cell or laptop) THEN it will indicate their location. **Q: Will this work with the galaxy note 10?** A: You will first need to download and install the Samsung App "SmarThings" from the Google Play Store.
