Choux-in for best cookbook on the shelf
Love this cookbook! I first saw it at a colleague's last year, and absolutely fell in love. The classic French recipes for baking are made so much easier than I expected. The varieties are colourful, with something for any mood you're in. The directions are very straightforward and make light work of a daunting task -- with options for stand mixers, hand mixers, and mixing by hand for each recipe. Very useful if you only do the latter! The first time I made a successful choux was a proud moment, and all because of Tartine 💯

Hard to find book, but nice to have.
Great book to have on hand. Not beginner book, nice photos, good recipes with good instructions.

Read and follow.
If you like baking and you have the patience to follow instructions and the interest to understand why the instructions are the way they are, then look no further.This book and the Tartine Bread book are great and produce delicious outcome. Two of the best cookbooks I own.

Great book but bashed in delivery
Great recipe book, everyone should have one. Sadly the delivery company clearly dropped it so it looks a bit rough, which is annoying as it wasn't cheap.
