Please make these more available
I love the clarity, i like the fact that they hang on your neck. these are the best for mowing. The battery lasts a long time. I just wish that they are mostly unavailable when searching for them. I recently found some in stock and bought two pairs before they went unavailable again.. I wish skullcandy would make these more readily accessible.

Great quality overall for practical and nice looking earbuds
I finally decided to buy these bluetooth earbuds because I kept tangling myself in the cord of my regular earbuds, pulling, unplugging... I chose these because I know the brand and I like it, I saw a review on the NY Times and I liked the price and the look! I have add them only about 10 days but for once, I am excited about a product, enough to post a review! Now I don't use my regular earbuds anymore. These are very comfortable -true I haven't run with them on yet! They are very light around the neck and, because of their shape, they fit nicely. The shape also makes it convenient to put them on; only one way to go; no tiny letter that tells you right or left ; no need for it! The range is good. I can forget my phone on the table and go get a glass of water in the next room and they still work! Don't ask me anything more technical than that! THEY WORK WELL! They are very easy to use, simple to turn on and off + you can adjust the sound. I haven't tested the noise canceling side so I can't talk about it. What I haven't figured out yet is the battery life. It is listed as 8-hours and I haven't run out of battery, but I am also careful and charge them once a day probably, when I don't need them. The only minor issue that I have with them is charging: there is a small rubbery cover to undo and I am afraid to break it, although that hasn't happened and it seems to hold well. Also, you really have to push back that cover with your finger to plug in the charging cord; the fit is tight! That's it! I have put pictures so that you can see the tiny cover (orange). Bottom line: LOVE THEM!

Skullcandy quality sound in a lightweight package
Review for earbuds Appearance The understated dark blue is a conservative alternative to the usual black. At the fifty dollar price point you don't expect any chrome or fancy graphics. The Power ON/OFF Multifunction button is a raised Skull candy logo. The Skullcandy name is debossed and is the only shiny element. In the box: * Basic instructions * Small USB charging cable * 2 sets of silicone ear gels (small & large). * 2 year warranty! Pairing is straightforward ; no codes required I appreciate the contoured buttons, I can tap the Plus sign to increase volume or long press it to go to the next track without looking. Fit: The earbuds fit tightly to isolate you from ambient sound. They feel securely in place. As they are marketed towards those of us who work out this point is important. You can jog and expect them to stay put. The neckband is flexible and quite lightweight. You can wear them for hours and forget they are around your neck. Speaking of working out, the simple plastic construction is sweat proof. Sound : The sound is accurate with just enough punchy bass to pleasantly surprise you. For this price point the sound is clear and full. Volume gets quite loud. Remember, the higher volume will use up the battery life at a much faster rate. I sound quite muffled when I call others. They hear the background as much as they hear me. I heard my caller quite clearly. The noise Isolation is excellent. If you put both earbuds in at the same time you will immediately notice the outside world seems to disappear. Battery life : They advertise 8 hours. Just remember that figure is NOT based on full volume. My biggest complaint : charging. You have very limited space to attach the USB cord. The cover stays in the way. I get they wanted to seal it off from sweat. But a simple hinge would make such a difference! Charging is headache as a result of this design flaw. Highly Satisfied! Heavy Industrial Area Use and Still Works Great!
Loved these! I work in a factory where I'm constantly moving around, and these ear buds were exactly what I needed! The bluetooth reception works to a distance of around 50 feet in a heavy industrial area with large amounts of 220v and 440v equipment contributing to electrical interference. The sound quality was also spot on to what I have come to expect from Skullcandy - crisp clean highs all the way down to fairly deep lows (maybe 60-100 Hz?) I listen to a variety of music, and this has satisfied me regardless off what I'm listening to up to this point. The controls are easily accessible, easy to comprehend, and easy to use and understand. The bluetooth pairing was quick and easy. I'm unsure on the battery life, but I was able to go an entire 8 hour shift without needing to charge. The unit as a whole is very lightweight, and probably a little fragile, but I didn't have any risk factors arise that would cause damage to the unit. The biggest concern I would have is if you are in a tight space and get a wire to one of the ear buds caught. This could result in a minor inconvenience of pulling the bud out of your ear or go as far as seeing the possibility of severing the wire - though I do, personally, find that to be a highly unlikely scenario. Overall, I am extremely happy with this product. The quality and ease of use make the price point very competitive in my opinion. While lacking some features such as a bass boost (which I like to have), feature for feature, Skullcandy nails it when it comes to meeting customer's needs with this product.

Really Good Wireless Headphones
I'm used to wireless headphones sounding really tinny and lacking all base or semblance of sound quality, these are the best wireless headphones I've ever had. I'm sure the audiophiles will turn their noses, but in terms of sound quality? These are indistinguishable from the wired skullcandy headphones I've used for years now: Nothing amazing or groundbreaking, but perfectly serviceable for day to day use, as far as I'm concerned. They pair really easily with my iPhone 7, although it would great if they could easily switch with my other bluetooth electronics. I use these up to 8 hours at a time working as groundskeeper, so they are exposed to the sun, dust, rain, sweat, etc. They last about two days on a charge! Really, regularly justing these things since January they haven't missed a beat. There are some foibles which are inherent to all wireless technology. I sorta wish the charge cord was longer/you could listen while charging. And like all wireless technology they are prone to lose connection with the phone now and again, particularly as the battery starts to drain. They get unusable once the battery falls under about 15% because of this. I do recommend running a damp cloth over them every now and again for cleaning. I find the plastic rubber part gets this werid discoloration thing going on if you don't that looks a little disgusting. But it cleaned right up in my case.

Work ok but they cut out a LOT; not worth the money to some people....
I chose wireless/bluetooth headphones because the microphone on my iPhone doesn't work anymore but Apple is crazy with their ports now and a regular headphone jack wasn't going to cut it. Let me preface my review by saying I rarely leave reviews; your product has to either really impress me, or really irk me for me to take the time to let you know what I really think. I'm on the fence about 2 stars vs. 3 but for now I'll settle for 3. PRO: I'm happy with -the colors and -overall fit; my ears are pretty small (lol) so large buds and over the ear pieces were out but these work great. -sound is ok. Don't expect bass boosted beats or noise cancelling. Better quality than some headphones I've tried, worse than some. Depends on your standards I guess -they have a built-in microphone which is the whole reason I bought these. CON: -Battery life could be better, at least more consistent. I can charge it until the light shows it's ready and some days it lasts 8 full hours, other days I'll make it 3 before I need a charge, and that's if they stay on which brings me to the next point -these will shut off after a certain period of not being used. If you leave bluetooth turned on on your phone, it will connect again when you go to replay, but they will be off and unavilable to new/unpaired devices. So I'm not sure if they're actually off, but the light doesn't blink, it takes about 30 seconds to reconnect to what was paired before, and again, they won't connect to previously/not recently connected device, even if they've paired together before. This on top of the inconsistent battery life tells me they do go into some sort of power-saving or just off mode when not being used nonstop. My guess is an attempt at battery salvation, but it's more annoying than helpful -and finally, my biggest frustration with these.... the crackling. The cutting out. The static. The losing entire portions of my song, lecture, audio book and having to rewind because of some connection issue. Drives me absolutely freaking CRAZY. You can *NOT* work out with these, run with these, move or do any kind of activity with these. I can't walk to class without it cutting out at least 30 times (literally, one day I counted 34 times) and I walk for less than 5 minutes. I checked the frequency or whatever and it's compatible so I know it's not that. At first, because I kept my phone in my back pocket while doing dishes or my jacket pocket while walking to class, I thought I was somehow blocking the signal. But I have sat in my living room, totally still, phone on the table a foot in front of me and not even moving, phone and headset 100% charged, and it will still cut out 3-10 times per song..... per SONG, not listening session. For the price I expect these to at least be able to maintain a frequency, especially with open airwaves on a full charge. Basically, if you're planning on sitting still with your phone out in the open and nothing covering the receiver on the headset, these are.... okay. You're still going to have the sound cut out and lose bits and pieces of what you're listening to. But if you're planning on walking, doing chores, working out, hiking, etc. with these, save your money and put it towards a more reliable pair. They get the job done but not very well, and in my experience are for totally stationary use.

If you love listening to music but aren't looking for the absolute ...
After getting these, I honestly can't imagine going back to wired earbuds or headphones. If you love listening to music but aren't looking for the absolute 100% flawless sound, these are one of those things in life where you didn't know you NEEDED it until you actually got it and realized how much better your music listening experience is not being tied down. I see that on a lot of reviews they're written things such as the music skipping if the phone is in your pocket/the blue tooth is covered? Personally, that hasn't been my experience unless the phone/earbuds were low on battery. It might have something to do with the phones/devices. I use my LG 5 phone and my Alienware laptop and, again, have no problems on proper battery. As for faults, I will say that I wish that there was a little more weight to the ends of the earbuds to make it harder for the device to slip off your neck/shoulders, and if you have long hair like I do, it can be a little difficult to get the device in place. I think that there are more expensive versions of wireless that SkullCandy makes that probably address this issue, though. Anyways, I've been an avid SkullCandy fan for probably about a decade now and once again find myself impressed with the product I received from them. If you're right now trying to decide weather or not these are worth purchasing, lemme just tell you that from my experience, yes they are. The sound quality is what you'd expect from a SkullCandy ink'd earbud, which means it's rather good! The bass is good without being overpowering, the quality is crisp and clear .The price is pretty spot on for the product you receive and not being wired down to a device will probably change your life for the better. And hey, y'know, if you don't like them you can always just return.

DOA but Skullcandy won't honor their warranty
The Ink'd Wireless Earbuds were defective on arrival. They would turn on and even pair to both my phone and my wife's, but the earbuds produced no sound. Half an hour with Skullcandy's tech support and several resets, pairings and unpairings later, the tech specialist confirmed my initial assessment. Here's the thing: If your product is broken, Skullcandy WILL NOT pay for you to return the item for a replacement. If you read their warranty, they advertise "free shipping" but that is referring only to the replacement. They require that you send in the original defective unit on your own dime. The earbuds are fairly small, but to send them via Priority Mail would cost at least $8 at USPS and more if sending it in a box or via a private company (e.g., FedEx/UPS). I tried explaining to a Skullcandy rep that it was insanity to ask somebody to pay, out of pocket, more than a third the value of the item (I got it on sale) to get a product replaced that should have been working in the first place. If this was something I'd broken, fair enough, but my earbuds arrived this way! My reward for receiving a broken product, was for them to ask me to throw good money after bad in order to mail it in and then continue to be without the headset I should have already had and been able to use! At this juncture I seriously considered just returning it to Amazon, who have always been great about such things (and would have paid, as they should, for me to return the product). The only thing stopping me was that I'd only be refunded the amount I paid. The earbuds were no longer on sale, so, if I wanted a replacement, I'd have to buy it at full price and then I'd be out an additional $10 (now a third the value of the headset). Skullcandy's customer service being singularly unwilling to pay for any kind of shipping of their own defective product, I asked Nia (the rep) what my options were. She suggested I send it via standard mail. I pointed out that wasn't an option because the packaging was too bulky. She told me that I only had to send in the headset itself. I pointed out that sending it via standard mail would be slow and insecure. If it wasn't delivered, I'd be out the entire value of the headset! Here's Nia's response: "Skullcandy has an awesome warranty. We make it very easy for you to have your headphones replaced for a full 2 years after you purchase them, no extra extended warranty to purchase. We do, however, require you pay to ship the product to us. It should only be a few dollars to ship via your local post office. We only need the headphones themselves back, not the packaging. We pay the shipping to get the BRAND NEW, non refurbished product back to you. We have a quick turn around processing time of 2 business days once receiving the product. If you wish to take advantage of our amazing warranty simply visit your local post office and get your defective headphones shipped out to us, we will handle the rest." I foolishly took her advice and sent out the Ink'd Wireless Earbuds via standard mail. Weeks later, having heard nothing back from Skullcandy, I followed a link in an automated email they sent me and got a message saying my request was closed. I got back on Skullcandy's support chat to see why this was the case and Ashley told me that the warranty claim was still open, but that they hadn't received the headphones. It seems the fear I'd expressed to Nia about standard mail had indeed played out. I explained the situation to Ashley, recounted my conversations both with the tech specialist and Nia, and asked that the warranty still be honored. At first, it seemed like Ashley might be willing to do so. She asked for proof of purchase, so I sent her the receipt from Amazon. Then she said she needed a receipt of having sent the package, which she knew I didn't have, as I'd already explained the entire circumstance leading up to me sending the headphones via standard mail. What proceeded was a back and forth where I got increasingly canned responses, that didn't even acknowledge the extended conversation we'd had about the situation. At this point, I was pretty frustrated: "Why is it so critical that it get to your warehouse? Are you going to salvage it for parts? How much value could you possibly get out of that? Is it more valuable to you than the faith in your brand that is instilled by honoring your warranty? You have your own rep who verified that this was a defective unit and authorized a warranty replacement, so you know I'm not trying to hoodwink you. I just want the headset I paid for and should have had a month ago so I can stop using my wired ones, which keep getting caught on things when I'm running or walking my dog." Here's the response I received, clearly not written by a human who had just had a LONG exchange with me about this situation: "Our warehouse has not received or processed the claim. If you have a verifiable tracking number showing that the product has been delivered or receipt showing that the product has been delivered we can assist further. You may contact their shipper for further assistance or check back for further updates in a few days if no notifications received." TL;DR: My Inked Wireless Earbuds were defective out of the box, but Skullcandy wouldn’t cover shipping to send it in for a warranty replacement. Their tech support confirmed the item was defective but their customer support won’t honor the warranty until they receive the defective unit (which will probably never happen, because they suggested I send it through standard mail).

Parfaits!

Surprisingly good
I was surprised by how good the sound quality of these headphones is. Of course, it can't compete with high-end ones that cost ten times as much, but this is to be expected. I tried other headphones with a similar price before, and they were horrible: sound was super tinny and would get distorted anytime you'd move your head. This product has none of those problems. The sound is nice and you can safely move around without weird distortions or disruptions. I read in other reviews that the bluetooth range was bad and would get disrupted when you'd cover the phone with your hands or put your phone in your backpack. I've not experienced this at all. I can easily walk around my living room with my phone laying on the table somewhere, without losing connecting. I also use it with my phone in my backpack regularly without any problems. I like the user-interface. The buttons have a Plus and Minus sign on them that you can feel without looking, so it's very easy to change the volume (short click) or change the song (long click). Middle button (with the Skullcandy logo - not my favorite, but you can't have everything) can also be found without looking very easily. Short clicking this will pause the music, long clicking will turn off the device. If you're looking for budget wireless headphones: look no further!
