I did not have high expectations for this drum because the price was suspiciously cheap, in my opinion. But I bought it to use in a few numbers in a chorus concert I was directing, and figured it would be good enough. Well I’m pretty blown away at both the sound and the construction of this drum! The drum head on mine is easily 10” and I was surprised at how deep a sound a drum this size could make, and what a nice tone it has. On top of that, the elephant carving and paint job are pretty impeccable, and the whole thing is very sturdy / good weight for its size.
