I truly regret not replacing the canopy in my patio umbrella sooner. Replacing was so easy and this new canopy really enlivens my patio setup. Good price point. Cannot speak about durability but it looks great and makes me want to keep the umbrella open. It does not have ties, but this time I also bought an umbrella cover that should prevent some (uneven) fading and dirt when I close it.October 12, 2024 update: the color has faded after a summer of being exposed to the sun. Still, I think this is a good deal and I will probably replace it next summer because I enjoyed the vibrancy of the color.

Great product. Good quality and much cheaper than replacing the entire thing. Fits well and happy with the bright vibrant colors and material.

This umbrella replacement canopy is well-made of good, strong material and it fit my old wood umbrella frame just like the original canopy did. It is a nice bright blue, may be a bit too bright for some but it looks nice here against the blue of the sky and the green of the surrounding foliage. I haven't noticed any fading as yet - I believe this was mentioned in another review?? - but have only had it for a few weeks. Anyway, it fits, provides shade from the sun and protection from light rain, does exactly what a patio umbrella should do. No complaints! Nice to be able to "refurbish" your umbrella without having to spend the money on a whole new set up.

I had to modify the umbrella frame as it was a 9.5 foot diameter umbrella, and still isn't a 100% perfect fit yet it was a straight forward install after mods and works very well on the frame. The material is strong and brightly colored and has withstood the summer sun and wind and rain through the fall and into the winter. As this umbrella is on the deck year round some fading is acceptable but I haven't noticed any. It still looks very nice and the stitching is strong and the fabric is light. A quality item and very good value for the price. When this one is worn out I'll replace it with the same.

I was ready to throw away my mouse eaten umbrella! So glad I found this. This replacement looks great, was easy to fit and is ready for summer. Bright color and good heft to it--better than the original for sure. My umbrella was a cheapie from a drug store. Measure your old umbrella. I folded it in half and laid it out to be sure it was 9 feet. And count ribs, as there are variations. .

Our old umbrella cover rotted out last fall when I was taking it down. The guts of it were fine so I decided to try this instead of $89 for a new one at Menards. It took less than 5 minutes to put it on. I laid it down so I could get the top on, then I put the rest of it together while it was standing in the umbrella stand. Fit like a glove and the material feels sturdy. I got the blue and it's beautiful. Very happy. If it only lasts a couple of years, it's still worth it.

Easy to put on, beautiful color, fit is nice but sad to say they are already fading after 2 weeks

Exactly what I needed. Easy to unscrew the top of the umbrella and replace the old canopy. It's important to measure. This was straightforward. If it's a cantilevered umbrella, it can be done but it's a bit trickier.

I’m happy with the quality. It’s a thicker fabric, like the original that came with the umbrella, and is well made. I’ve only had for a month but no fading so far and it’s held up in windy conditions. If you have a high quality umbrella it’s worth it to buy a good quality replacement.
