Is there a difference between this cooler and the Igloo glide roller cooler in blue? Thanks

I actually bought two blue one, got two of these, and the returned the blue ones.  There's little differences that make this cooler better.  Metal hinges instead of plastic flex hinges that will break (that's a biggie for me).  Locks to keep the top closed.  As I recall, this one seals better.  I think how the wheels connect to the cooler might be different, but I'm not sure on that one.  I think the padding on the handle is slightly different.Side-by-side, the blue one felt like a cheap knockoff.  It's obvious they cut corners to get the price down for walmart/sams.  If I could find little surface things that were inferior about the blue one, how do I know that the insulation isn't also worse or the plastic isn't thinner?

30.5in L X 13in W X 13.5in H. There is a hump inside the cooler where the wheels are, I measured the length just above hump to the other end of the cooler.

Would this cooler keep popsicles or other frozen foods from thawing?

Depends on your time frame and ambient temperature. It is not better or worse that other similar coolers on the market.  If you are serious about keeping stuff frozen for more than a few hours you are going to need to pack with dry ice or invest in a freezer that can run off a car battery.  For my purposes it keeps milk and meat cold for several days but I change put the ice every 48-72 hrs depending on how hot it is.

How well does this work on the Beach? Namely, on loose sand?

I don't know. Never tried it. But based on knowledge of beach sands and this item - Really soft sand - not at all. medium to firm might be ok. I am not sure what wheeled vehicle/cart works well in really soft sand. You'd need fat tires to make that happen. Good Luck.
