Overcooked! All You Can Eat - Nintendo Switch

If you're looking for a hilarious, fast-paced game to play with friends or family, Overcooked 2 is a must-have. The premise is simple — work together to cook and serve meals in the wildest kitchens imaginable — but the execution is chaotic, challenging, and incredibly fun. The levels are clever and constantly changing, from kitchens that move across trucks to platforms that float down rivers. Just when you think you’ve got the hang of things, the game throws in a new twist to keep you on your toes. The addition of the “throw” mechanic is a game-changer and adds a whole new layer of strategy (and shouting). What really makes this game shine is the local multiplayer. It’s perfect for couch co-op — whether you're playing with your partner, roommates, or kids. Just be prepared for a lot of yelling (“Why is the rice burning?!”) and laughing. It's less fun solo, but still playable. One heads-up: online play can be a bit spotty on the Switch, so local is the way to go if possible. Overall, Overcooked 2 is one of the best party/co-op games on the Switch. It’s colorful, challenging, and a total blast.

Great game that includes Overcooked, Overcooked 2 and all of the DLC’s. We love to play this together as a family.

Overcooked is an amazing game to play with family or friends. It’s simple to pick up, but the challenges get chaotic fast — which is what makes it so much fun. It really puts your teamwork and communication to the test (in the best way possible). We laughed nonstop while trying to keep up with the orders.

Very fun for couples. Sometimes my wife and I just want to sit in front of the TV and relax. We're not huge gamers anymore like we used to be and we typically stay busy. We like a challenge while also being relaxing. This is a great game for us to work on our communication and teamwork.

Great game with the family. My college aged daughter told us about it, and we bought it to spend time with the kids over the holidays. We had a blast each time we played!

My family like all different games so we don’t usually play together but we’ve had so much fun all working together and yelling at each other while playing this game. We have a mixed age family (kindergarten through teenager plus adults) and everyone has been able to fill a different role in each level and work cooperatively to meet the cooking objectives. I will say none of us have found it fun to play alone although there is an option for solo. The one other issue with this game is that tends to be weirdly buggy at times (things like come randomly teleporting outside the play area when running, or issues with the levels loading). It doesn’t seem like any of the problems have been fixed by updates either which doesn’t reflect well on the game company.

I had originally purchased and played Overcooked 1 & 2 and all of the downloadable content. I was a little annoyed because the developer has been releasing new levels that are only available on this "all you can eat" edition; you can't even get them if you own the original games. I wanted to replay 1 & 2, so I decided to get AYCE because 1 is remastered and because of the new levels that you can't get anywhere else. And until there is an Overcooked 3, AYCE is going to be the only version that is supported with additional new content. Others might disagree that you shouldn't get this if you already purchased and played the others and all the DLC already.. but my wife and I love this game and this physical version wasn't too expensive. Now I won't get FOMO when they release new DLC.

Bought this game as a recommendation from someone who had played. Thought I'd give it a shot as it's cheaper than most mainstream title games by quite a bit, and offered 2 games in 1. This was an awesome decision don't think I've gotten more use from any other game! Ideal to play with 2-4 people as the multiplayer is what makes it amazing, can create family tension and some yelling but will make you laugh and you won't regret a second of it.

Great party game, but it will test your communication skills.
