However you need to cut the plug off the end so you can fix the wires to the ring terminals and identify the + positive wire which is normally the wire with a white dash line along it, but best to test with a multi meter firstly. But actually, the thieves didn't want to hang around long and I'm positive if a siren was blaring they would have ran away as soon as it went off. So, I installed the Ring siren outside, great bit of kit super easy to pair to the Ring system & very easy to install on the wall. I've installed old school alarms in the past and been scared to death by them going off due to Tampers etc and can generally be a pain in the butt but this is so easy, when disarmed tamper pings on the app but doesn't scream in your face so your quite free to fiddle and play, don't need to feel like you have a ticking bomb in your hands up the ladder. It looks tidy, has a glow at night (can be turned on/off) and looks quite swish but I understand some people won't like it so it can be switched off in the app, and the siren is surrounded in LEDs while will look very obvious to anyone who looks out there windows in the night. Volume control is also quite nice, whole system is just brilliant.
