## Description

desertcart.com: Fosmon Replacement USB Breakaway Cable for Xbox 360 Controller - 2 Pack | Protect Your Console From Sudden Cord Pulls with This Quick-Release Replacement Dongle for Wired Gaming Controllers Gamepads : Video Games

Review: Excellent alternative to the original Microsoft USB dongle - I bought this to be able to use for my Guitar Hero Xplorer and I’ve had no issues with it. I highly recommend this product especially if you have an Xbox 360 guitar that uses a dongle to plug into your PC or 360.
Review: both of them checked out just great but one had the slightest bend in the usb ... - they came earlier than expected and i tested both connectors since some said one of them doesn't work sometimes, both of them checked out just great but one had the slightest bend in the usb part of it that i was able to straighten it out with my fingernail. now the ones i got were more of a gray color than black for my afterglow controller but i mean come on it's not supposed to look pretty. for the price they both met my expectations and exceeded them with the extra one they threw in (being a 2 pack) definitely beats dishing out another $40 for a controller and i'll most likely order more if i ever accidentally step on my connector again.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: will this adaptor work on the logitech steering wheel that is xbox compatible**
A: It seems like the original Xbox and the Xbox 360 have different connectors, so unfortunately this will not work for the original Xbox controllers. Hope this helps.

**Q: Can i use this with my thrustmaster racing wheel the plug in is round xbox one only has usb??**
A: These are replacement dongles for the breakaway cable provided with wired Xbox 360 controllers. If the thrustmaster racing wheel has the same style of connection port that an Xbox 360 wired controller does, then yes this will work. Hope this helps!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Saved me some big bucks
*by A***. on June 27, 2013*

I had an xbox controller that wasn't working quite right. i had a few options: (1) repair, (2) replace, (3) try crazy ideas. Replace was the last option as it was obviously the most expensive. The internet provided some pretty lame ideas that weren't helping at all. I got clever and started looking for bad connections and found an angle on the breakaway cable that allowed power to the controller. So, I figured forking out a few bucks to test a new cable would be worth it.... it totally worked and my controller is all good now. Crisis averted!
