This is a great step down/up regulator circuit board, also 3 for under £8! It stayed cool while I was testing it. I normally test before connection to main device. So connect live to ac input Hot and neutral to ac input neutral. Do not plug in until all connection are done! You need to put a load on the output side otherwise it will not show step down/up voltage. I connected the load side to a desk light. I used a digital multimeter to read results. On load side, connect live to load and neutral to neutral. Also later on I will connect the earth or ground wire to the potentiometer plate, you can tighten earth wire under potentiometer nut and washer. I connected a desk light to test device. The potentiometer with big black dial will increase the voltage when turning clockwise and reduce it when turning anti-clockwise. For me there was no need to adjust the voltage range, small brass screw in photo but if you need to adjust turn it very slightly each time. Do not touch the ac live input wires after plug connected and live switched on. In photo I got the voltage from 240v to 100v, this is what I need for my final device connection. So for me all working good, I will install the circuit board in an enclosed box to make it safe. I will drill small holes in box for air to circulate an keep heatsink cool.

I was a little concerned that such small items would perform as needed and at an amazing price. I need not have worried they are working perfectly for me controlling the speed of a motor that i have on a 12 volt battery running at very low speed now perfectly . Also set up to power led's running at 4.5Volts so that they are not over bright in use.

Habe es für meinen selbstgebaute Kraftstoffpumpe benutzt, es funktioniert perfekt. Vorher hatte ich sie direkt an der Batterie, allerdings war es ungesund für den Motor. Jetzt kann ich die Power perfekt fein dosieren und ist viel freundlichen für den Motor
