This hairnet would be too large for a bun. Look for a small round net.

What are the dimensions of this item?

It's approximately 58"x41"x41". It completely covers a head full of jumbo sized rollers with lots of room to spare.

Is the netting tight enough to work as a bug net?

The holes in the netting are quite large, so I doubt it will work as a net to keep bugs out or off of anything. This is the type of net that we used prior to hair blow dryers when we still put our hair in rollers or bobby pins.

Can this be used on top of rollers whilst under a hood dryer pls?

I use this net on top of rollers and then blow dry a bit and ok. but I did not try under a hood dryer.

I had been looking for a good net for a while. My hair is very long and I use the wrap method to dry it. However, I use two huge curlers at the top and nothing could keep them in place. I gave this net a try and I am happy I did. It is strong and large. I am 💯 sure it can hold a full head of curlers. Good value for the money because it is sturdy and it will last.
