Ate itself in the first 10 mins. Jammed then crunched. Hadn't caught anything yet so absolutely no stress on the reel.

Great powerful reel at a great price. It's tough enough for spanish and kings yet light enough for trout and flounder.

Wow. This reel is probably the best reel that I have used in this size. The drag is amazing, it has far more stopping power than I think I will ever use. The action is smooth and the anti-reverse engages well. No issues with the bail or other features. One feature often found on spinning reels is not present on the reel - there is no switch to disengage the anti-revers. If that is a tradeoff for the excellent drag - well worth it, but if you want to 'feed' line on a bait take-up, just know that it doesn't have it.Used it a few times for salmon, great performance for the price and weight of the product. Definitely recommend this reel. I also bought the Lethal LT-80 for heavier saltwater use. Love that one too !
