I was hoping that the sand particles were visible but they were not.

Item arrived on time but, it arrived along with another order that I had placed and it was just a plastic bag. I really didn't notice that it had arrived, until I looked in the bottom of the package (see photos).

I’m going to give this one star because they arrived. That’s about it. They were all broken and completely unusable for the classroom. Completely not as advertised, did not look anything like the pictures.

This isn’t even sandstone. It’s just weathered. Waste of my time.

As a collector of rocks, gemstones, ingots, fossils, and bones.. I'm always looking to add onto my collection. While this may not be the prettiest one to look at, it's something I haven't come across often. The price for 1 feels ridiculous, especially considering it's only about double for 12 from the same supplier.. I think my girlfriend would have beaten me in my sleep for getting so many tho considering how many rocks I already have. We can't go outside without me coming home with a stone or 2 in my pocket lol. I'm only docking 1 star over the cost of a single stone, the 6 or 12 bundles I would have rated as 5 star

I got this as part of a few samples to start off my niece's rock collection, for which I bought her an acrylic display kit. This sample has some nice layering to demonstrate the sedimentary composition of at least two or three different colors. It is not quite as large as the image showing a hand holding the sample, but not terribly smaller. It's probably closer to 3/4 inch square than it is 1 inch square, but close enough.
