Here’s my maintenance tip: Leather stretches over time, so don’t tug on the leather around the opening or it’s going to get saggy. Instead, hold the case by the opposite end and wiggle the laptop to slide it in and out.

Let me preface this by saying that I seldom write reviews. However, this product is very deserving of one. Let me quickly go over why I gave it the stars I did in each category. Style: 4 Stars, because for me, I love the design, however the have their logo imprinted at the bottom on one side of the case, as well as a large tag sown inside the slip seemed a bit much for my tastes. While the logo on the outside is hardly noticeable, I would have preferred just the internal one, and a clean surface on both sides of the sleeve for the exterior. Value: 4 Stars here, because let's be honest, it's a laptop sleeve, and its not a hardshell case. That said, this is real leather and wool, hand stitched, so if you are looking for genuine materials, and good quality for a leather sleeve, this is top notch, but bear in mind it comes with a significant price tag. Sturdiness: 5 Stars for this one. As mentioned above, this is real leather, very soft yet quite thick. The interior is real wool, which at first had me very concerned that it would scratch the finish on my MBP, that said I have been using this product for several months now and I could not feel better about it being in this sleeve. For general storage in a backpack, on a desk, travel, etc, this product has far and away exceeded my expectations and my hopes. Overall rating: 5 Stars from me. I spent a few hours scouring online for good quality, clean looking, and durable leather sleeves for my MBP, and trying like hell to avoid spending the outrageous price for the Apple branded one. Then I find this. Still quite pricey, and I was very unsure of the wool lining and if it would scratch the material of my MBP, however everything I read said it was not a concern. I decided to buy it and try it out, and I have since fallen in love with this sleeve. It goes everywhere with me, just like my laptop, and there's not a time where it doesn't get used. When my laptop is in use, I sit my laptop on it to act as a padded surface, and when the I'm stressing the laptop with my workload and the fans need better ventilation, this sleeve doubles as a mousepad for me as well. So far after several months of ownership and frequent, near daily use, this shows no signs of wear whatsoever. I can't stress enough the importance of this product for me, and I am so very pleased with the craftsmanship of it. If you are looking for a well made leather sleeve made of genuine high quality materials with a clean and elegant design that offers solid protection for you device, do yourself a favor and get this.

Bonjour, C'est ma 2nd pochette chez Woolnut, la première étant pour mon Macbook Air. Ayant été satisfait globalement de mon 1er achat chez eux, c'est naturellement que je leur refais confiance pour mon nouveau Macbook Pro 16. Toujours dans un soucis d'élégance je me tourne vers le cuir couleur havane, qui matchera mes autres iDevices et surtout qui se marie avec pleins de choses du quotidien ! Le cuir est toujours aussi beau, la couleur conforme au descriptif. Toujours cette odeur +/- agréable aussi par contre, a chacun son avis la dessus ! Aux premiers usages, la pochette a pris une légère marque dans une sacoche en allant bosser alors même que la pochette était dans un emplacement rembourré, je ne me l'explique pas. Mais au global, c'est toujours de la qualité et un réel plaisir a la manipulation ! Un vrai produit de qualité et beau a la fois, pour matcher les produits Apple qu'il protège. La feutrine intérieure est douce et pratique, aucune rayure ni micro-rayure grâce a elle. Je laisse 5 étoiles a cette pochette car c'est un super produit a un prix relativement convenable pour cette gamme. MAIS malgré son prix (produit qui se veut premium avec un fort accent sur l'origine de Scandinavie des produits, c'est in fine du MADE IN INDIA ?!?! En l'état je recommande ce produit de qualité qui n'a strictement rien a voir avec les marques fantaisistes qui propose des produits similaires entre 20 et 50 euros sur le net. No concibo tener un portátil sin su funda: manías de uno, supongo, pero no me seduce la idea de abandonar el aparato en maletas, mochilas o incluso la misma bolsa de transporte sin una protección extra. Además, cuando lo dejas cargando sigue estando más protegido y siempre puedes utilizar la funda de apoyo mientras lo utilizas. Para mí, la funda es la auténtica compañera de viaje del portátil. Estuve viendo el modelo oficial de cuero de Apple y, pese a su elevadísimo precio, ya me arrastraba el hipnotismo de la manzanita a considerarla seriamente hasta que comprobé que no se podía cargar el ordenador mientras estuviera en la funda. Es una de tantas decisiones hostiles al usuario que toma la compañía de Cupertino, como la ubicación del puerto de carga en el Magic Mouse o la «funda» de los AirPods Max, pero que en este caso me hicieron desistir del accesorio original. Debatiéndome entre encargar una artesanal en Etsy o similares o esta como mejor opción comercial, elegí la de Woolnut y creo que he acertado. La funda en sí está muy bien manufacturada, sin una sola puntada fuera de sitio, hilachas ni defectos. El material del forro, lana merino alemana (sin teñir, importante, que tuneamos el Mac sin querer), pierde mucha pelusa al principio pero es totalmente normal y no araña la carcasa ni puede tampoco dañar la pantalla. El material exterior de cuero tiene un buen grosor y es de grano completo: precioso a la vista (parece corregido), flexible y duradero si lo cuidamos adecuadamente. El ordenador se introduce haciendo algo de fuerza, pero no excesiva, y es de esperar que con el tiempo se suelte un poco aunque sin que se caiga solo. La abertura tiene la ventaja de que permite cargar el Mac, a costa de exponer ese lateral a polvo y partículas, pero prefiero con creces la comodidad — si trabajara en una carpintería o un sitio con mucho polvo, pues ya escogería el modelo con cremallera . Este es un producto un poco de capricho: funcionalmente, una funda de cuero sintético o de textil cumple el mismo servicio, aunque esta es lo suficientemente rígida como para usarla bien de apoyo. Precisamente en este aspecto es donde el producto no tiene nada que envidiar al de Apple: es preciosa y se disfruta con el olor a buen cuero, su tacto y su elegante presencia. Te la recomiendo.
