Both make and female ends fit snuggly and work great to power my 8-port Netgear switch inside an outdoor enclosure for a light show. The wiring feels quality and it bends easily allowing these jacks to be used in tight spaces. I used a 13/32" drill bit and the hole was tight enough to screw the jack directly into my plastic case.
