The corded model has a 15’ cord with a control handle on the bottom of the cord that has a locking key mechanism that you turn before depressing the operational button of the attic lift. The wireless model uses a wireless remote control much the same as the one that you have for your garage door remote. The range on the remote is generally at least 50’ and the remote can conveniently hang on a hook or nail when not in use. The mounted wall switch model is great unit for new construction because it comes with two in wall switches, one for upstairs, one for downstairs. These can install in a mounted box and also come with 50’ of low voltage wire for convenient installation. He picked this brand for her and everyone is happy with it. Keep in mind he is a professional, but he felt it was easy to install and works well. He did build a framed area for it so it will always raise exactly where it is supposed to. The customer is a lady who lives in a big house by herself. She likes to decorate for all the seasons and holidays. She keeps this decor stored in her attic. However, her house is large and the path to the attic is not easy to navigate while carrying decoration boxes. She hired my husband it install this in her garage. He made an opening into the attic in the garage and framed an area to hold the lift. It is now super easy to load the items in the lift and raise it them to the attic. She does have to then go through the house to get to the attic herself, but it is then super easy to unload the boxes back to their storage spot.His customer was so happy, she could not stop playing with it and actually opened her store late the first day after she got it because she kept playing with it.
