This silicone brush seems to be different from others I have tried in the past. It seems to grab more loose hair and dander better than others. It helps to get the silicone spikes wet first so there's less hair flying everywhere. It also helps in removing the hair from the brush, too. One of my cats, for the first time ever, allowed me to brush her belly! She insisted I do it. With her I also used a cat dander wipe to remove excess hair and dander and her coat is so plushy and beautiful. Another cat, who doesn't like being brushed and another who won't sit still to be brushed, both were pushing each other away so they could get in on the brushing action. The brush is easy to hold, my hand didn't get tired or cramp up like with a regular brush handle. I would recommend this brush and I also suggest that you use it wet just for better loose hair control. If your cat sheds a lot, I have several that do, use a second brush like a slicker or something to use after the silicone brush.

This brush is absolutely unreal in the amount of hair that you can brush off of your cats undercoat! All my cats see this brush and come running to me to be brushed! I swear they act like it is catnip! They zone out during the brushing like they are getting the best massage of their life! It works great on my short haired cats and it works GREAT on my long haired Rag-doll who never allowed me to brush him until I started using this brush! And it blew my mind the amount of hair that comes off of a short haired cat! I had no idea that a short haired cat would be able to shed as much as this! I am telling you it will blow your mind the amount of hair that will come off. The more I brush the more it still keeps coming. Let me pass along a tip another customer wrote which does help.When it starts coming off it will be fine and easy to fly away or get left in a layer by the cats tail if you don't watch what your doing so a customer recommended to just spritz the brush with a shot of water from a mister. I just watch what I am doing when I brush my cats and keep a damp cloth handy to catch any stray hairs the brush didn't pick up so they don't lick and get a hairball. I have bought the famous glove they advertise and a slicker, you name it I have tried it and none of those brushes can even come close to matching the performance of this brush! I am telling you , get one because you Will be glad you did and your cats will LOVE You for it! And don't be surprised if your cats zone out after you brush them! LOL

My cat, sadly, doesn't enjoy being brushed. She is a short hair domestic cat so we don't have to deal with matting with her thankfully. Still, in order to prevent hairballs during the changing of the season, i try to help reduce the amount of hair she ingests. This is designed well to fit your hand. It is less intimidating than a brush with a handle. The shocking thing is the amount of hair it loosens that other brushes don't reach. I will brush my cat with any other brush until there seems to be nothing left to loosen. Then, i can use this and it's astonishing how much more hair is removed. This reaches the deep hair from her winter coat. The soft rubber seems to attract the hair. This doesn't seem to hurt my cat at all and she tolerates it for brief intervals but she doesn't enjoy it. Still, it is highly effective. I can't speak to how it might work with a long hair cat, though. The one downside is that it is so difficult to clean. The rubber pins hold on to the hair and don't want to let go. I tried a light misting of water on the brush to no avail. The brush will clean under running water but you have to be careful. You don't want that much hair flowing into your drain. It works incredibly well to diminish shedding. I don't know if there is a tool that could help you clean off the brush. The pros outweigh the cons, though.

This thing really works, much better than a traditional wire brush. Out cat refused it at first but then came to like it. Add moisture before using, wash with water to clean.

I have two cats, and one always gives me a particularly difficult time when it comes time to brush him. Partially because he's a wiggle worm, but mostly because his skin is more sensitive and any sort of wire or stiff bristled brush seems to irritate his skin. This is especially irritating because he is the one who has the thicker fur & sheds in larger quantities. I've tried the large rubber wand brushes before, but they're so long and awkward that it's hard to really get the job done; though it has done it better than any of the others. I received this brush today. Initially I was turned off by the packaging of the product. The product's package itself wasn't damaged or of poor quality, but there was cat hair stuck to the plastic that holds the brush. I understand that products get returned & repurchased, but a simple cleanup of the packaging to remove fur would have been nice. Regardless, I removed the brush from the plastic to further inspect and it seemed to be in good shape so I sanitized it and then skulked over to the window sill where my cats were sleeping. My difficult cat was unsure at first, but slowly but surely he began to struggle admitting to himself that he liked this new brush. Not only was it easy to use on him, but it actually picked up a LOT of fur! And I didn't have to worry about being too rough on him as the rubber tips are super flexible. So I was able to remove a substantial amount of loose fur from him without worrying about hurting him or stressing him out! A win for all of us! The product itself I'd actually rate 4 stars, as I'm impressed with the design and the color of purple used is beautiful! But I had to knock off a star due to the poor re-packaging of a used item. It looks like I can finally clear up some space in my cat-stuff-cabinet and toss a few brushes I know I won't ever dare to try again. I'll be keeping my large wand for the furniture however & bear through the struggles of the Furminator for a good brush-out of their undercoats every few months. Would recommend.

This brush gets off so much more fur than others. I have used many different brushes throughout my life with cats. This is the best! Because the brush has soft rubber bristles that are split at their tip, it massages the cat while taking the loose fur. She sits longer for brushing with this than the other 3 types we own. Love it!!

Mi gato se deja peinar con él y ronronea, le gusta más que el típico cepillo de cerdas metálicas y además quita bastante más pelo. Me sorprendió un poco el tamaño, me pareció algo pequeño, pero más que suficiente para cumplir su función. Lo recomiendo.

Muy recomendable. Lo acabo de usar con mi gata, que nunca ha sido muy amiga de los cepillados y sorprendentemente le ha encantado. Es muy suave con su piel, se adapta muy bien a mi mano y sobre todo muy importante, el cepillo trae consigo un bote spray para rellenarlo de agua y pulverizar la superficie del cepillo antes de iniciar el cepillado a nuestros gatos, de esta forma todo los pelos quedan pegados al cepillo pero luego se desprenden de una vez al tirarlos a la basura. Un producto de calidad, muy útil porque consigue que los pelos se queden casi como pegados al cepillo, fácil desprenderse de ellos y sobre todo muy cuidadoso y agradable al máximo con nuestros gatos.

C’est la brosse ultime à avoir pour amasser les poils morts! Une fois humidifiée, la quantité de poils ramassée est impressionnante. J’ai dépensé beaucoup d’argent pour tester plusieurs brosses et celle-ci est de loin la meilleure. Elle ne démêle pas et ne défait pas les noeufs, pas faite pour ça. Mais pour les poils morts en période de mue, c’est magique. Bonus: comme elle est souple, elle ne tire pas et fait comme un massage. Mes chats adorent!
