The label on the individual rolls says "made in China"

A most important question: Is this made of cotton or some other natural (not synthetic!) material?

I don't think it's cotton. I got rash from it overnight. If it was cotton, I am sure manufacture would advertise it that way.

Is this absorbent? Looking for thicker brand of gauze

I use them to cover the absorbent bandages beneath them.

Is this bandage 6 ply? And is each roll individaully wrappted?

It's only a single ply, but they are individually rolled and packaged.

I like how these feel to the skin. Very soft and flexible. No need to have tape to hold together unless you want it extra secure. I like that it comes individually wrapped. I took off one star due to packaging. I received it with the box broken as seen in the picture. Good thing the gauzes are wrapped in plastic.

I would suggest better shipping packaging for items in a soft cardboard container. It was in an envelope that didn't exactly protect it. The product survived but the package was totally destroyed. It's a good thing the gauze is soft so it wasn't damaged. Would otherwise have given 5 stars for our needs.
