Does this ball float?

Good Question. No it does not because it has an opening in the middle where the strap is threaded thru. Their other orange balls without the strap DO float. ;-)

Which size is equal to a tennis ball?

The chuck it ball comes in now about 5 sizes...the next size up from the smallest is the medium which is the size of a tennis ball, The one pictures with the tug handle is the size medium which is the size of a tennis ball. These rubber balls are the best on the market...but only the rubber ones.

Does this float in water?

Unfortunately, no it does not. And that's why I bought it, thinking that it would... and that two Poodles could swim and tug with it. But it's still an awesome yard and field throw. Just don't leave it alone to become a chew toy. It's durable but destructible!
