I must say I totally agree with everyoneโs comment about this product. I first introduced this product by my mother-in-law. Her dog passed away before she had a chance to try it. She gave this product to our lab dog who is 11 yrs old. The second day our dog had it, we a huge change. She can walk with no trouble. She, of course like other old lab dog has arthritis on her hips. So, if we can extend her life & live to the fullest without pain we would. Even if she finally die, she dies without pain. Thatโs why we just ordered another 2 packages.

I must say that i was very weary about this product. I have a 13 year old Sharpei with severe arthritis in the front legs. Somedays she hust so bad we would need to carry her up and down the stairs several times a day because she would stand on the top step and look down but not even try to walk down. We had been giving her Previcox for over a month, but could not stop worrying about its possibly terrible side effects and I had seen that even though se was doing better, she still limped considerably at times. I decided to try this because of the reviews, but I seriously expected it would not work (if the Previcox did not work 100%, what were the odds of a bunch of herbs working), but i really had nothing to loose and the price is way cheaper than the Previcox, so I figured I might as well give it a try. I figured I would give it a try for 2 weeks and if it did not work then I would go back to Previcox or try something else. The first day I gave this an her regular dose of Previcox...I actually saw a slight improvement. Figured it was just wishful thinking....Next day I gave her DGP and 1/2 her Previcox dose, but had to leave her in the house the entire day to go to work....when i came back she walked down the stairs to meet me and her tail was raised...hopefull but not really convinced. Third day 1 DGP and 1/4 of the Previcox dose (I wanted to ween her off it slowly in case this did not work). Came back from work and she rushed down the stairs so fast that she actually fell the two last ones, but got up wagging her tail and everything. On the fourth day I gave her DGP and no Previcox and again she rushed down to meet met and fell the last 3 steps...I was seriously was happy but also a little worried. O the fifth day I did not need to go to work. I gave her the pill and stayed home. She slept for a while (she sleeps a lot given her age) and when she got up I noticed she was seriously standing much much straighter and had almost no limp. Her tail was high and wagging and she even played with my other dog for 3-5 minutes... I have been giving her DPG for 3 weeks now and I am very happy with the results. Now, I am not saying this is a miracle pill, but it definitely was worked better than Previcox, and so far I have not seen any side effects (maybe she is a little more sleepy, but I really can't be sure). I give her one GDP in the morning and one at night. Whenever she wakes up she will not limp at all for 10-15 minutes and then will get a little tired and limp a little. If she takes a nap again she will not limp for a while after waking up....She does not behave like a puppy and run around (she is 13 and there is no magic that can stop aging), but she sleeps more soundly, looks more comfortable and eats much better than before. One month ago, I really thought she would not last over 2 months. She looked like she was in a lot of pain and had lost 3 pounds because she would not eat very much (not sure if this was because of the Previcox or the pain). Today she looks like she can go on for a while longer. I don't worry anymore that when I come home from work she might be hurt, unable to walk or worse. I have seen her in much less pain, more comfortable and happier. FYI. We also Add powder Glucosamine and 1 scoop of "Platinum Performance" to her food once a day. And give her 1ml weekly injections of AdequanCanine. But we did all of this before the DGP. At the same time of starting her on DGP, we also started giving her 50ml of "Sinovial Seven". and a squirt of salmon oil in her food. She had hepatic problems about 6 years ago so whenever she is on any kind of medicine we make sure she also gets "Silimarin / Milk Thistle" in pills called "Legalon" to counter effect any side effects that can hurt her liver.

DGP is a wonderful product, cheaper and safer than any of the other pain-relievers I have given my 15 yo lab/border collie mix. She has arthritis in her spine, is deaf and has fairly clouded lens, so her vision is not what it once was. She spent most of her days sleeping, ignoring my other dogs, and only getting excited about mealtime, which she would then often refuse. She eats a mix of homemade and purchased raw food diets and super-premium kibble. She has excellent overall health, and still goes for short walks, but I thought this product was worth a try after reading a study published by Whole Dog Journal. I started her on twice the reccommended dose for the first two weeks, giving her two pills, twice a day then moved her to maintenance dose of two pills once a day. Although they are chewable tablets, I still have to put them in cheese or pill pockets to get her to eat them. Within the first 3 days, she was loping around outside with her happy dog rocking horse gait--I hadn't seen her run so much in a couple years. I just figured her reduced mobility was a function of aging. These pills have improved her quality of life and her attitude, which I can only attribute to a reduction in pain and clearly increased mobility. On the 3rd day, she was bouncing into little play bows, inviting my 1 year old border collie to play with her. She has never solicited play with that dog since we got her as a puppy. They now have at least one short play session every day. My old girl's eyes are brighter, her attitude is perky, and she actually had to develop some new routines, as she no longer just slept all day. She stays outside with me longer during the day on our farm, and she is not falling down anymore--her legs used to just slide out from under her, especially on hard floors, and she would need help to get up. Her life is not without some age-related struggles, but it is significantly better since we started using DGP. I reccommend this product to anyone with an arthritic or geriatric dog. It is affordable, safe and effective. Totally worth trying--you may just find your canine partner feels years younger. What a blessing for my very good old dog!

My 10 year old golden has grade 4 hip dysplasia which she was diagnosed with at 8 months of age. I find it very effective after just a couple of days. You can double dose with no digestive issues. I find a double dose to be more effective than one dose of DGP and Sasha's blend. Back to almost normal walks with no mobility issues.

At 16, my dog started showing signs of arthritis. I took her into the vet and they wanted to start her on harsh prescriptions so I decided to search for an alternative first. I tried a few different supplements and herbs that did nothing and within just a few short weeks her back legs were barely working and I knew I would probably need to get her a prescription. The vet informed me that even with taking the pain pills she would probably need a doggy wheelchair to take walks so I started saving up for one and even had one ready to order. My husband built her some stairs to get onto our bed but she was still having trouble so I actually put my bed onto the floor for her to comfortably get on and off. We built ramps outside to get out of the house and back and changed everything for her. I would do anything for her but it hurt so much to see what she was going through I knew I needed to do more research and find something better. I ended up finding DGP and saw the ratings were much better than most alternative pills I have read on so I thought why not try. Within the first week of taking these she had stopped dragging her back legs and within two weeks she was back to normal! I'm not kidding, it was a miracle. I didn't need to get her prescription pain killers and I never did order that wheelchair. She jumps around and leaps just like when she was young. It's been a year and a half now, she is almost 18 and no one believes me. She looks healthy, has the energy of a young dog and can jump on and off furniture. I have my sweet, energetic girl back. I will keep her on these forever because they have saved her life and given her vitality back, I can't even begin to thank DGP for helping my princess. I want her to live out her life taking walks and having fun, not be in pain, and this has given her that. Thank you!!
