These pens are lovely for any sort of writing. I brought them for my son at school, but had to try them out first. The red pens are extremely comfortable to hold with their round shape. I cannot write about how long they last as I have just received them. But I can say that the ink is a nice, dark black. Unlike some pens which have a faded colour. The line is a constant thickness and the ink dries almost instantly. This is due to the fact that the ink is transferred in an almost felt-tip style. With that in mind, care must be taken not to smudge the ink immediately after writing. These pens are definitely a 5/5 for me and are more than worth the small amount you pay for them.
