I ordered this shed to replace a wooden one that had started to rot. I was replacing a 10x10 she and this was the closest footprint to that I could find. Cons: Item did not arrive when it was promised. To be fair, when I did contact the seller, I was given a phone number for someone to talk to which is great for a nearly $2,000 item. To their credit their customer service was excellent and let me know they have been telling Amazon it take 8-10 BUSINESS DAYS to get there and to stop telling customers a week or less, so this is on Amazon not Keter. A few of the parts were cracked or broken. One of the doors has a crack near the top, and one of the roof corner brackets had some splines broken off. I debated asking for replacements but I had already torn down and removed the old shed and the items inside were taking up my garage based on the delivery dates I had been given. Having waited another week for delivery I did not want to wait weeks more to try to get parts, if that would have even been possible. I felt the damage was not structurally compromising and moved forward. Pros: Best manual for a product I have ever seen. Steps were clear and easy to follow. especially for which fasteners were needed. At least one extra of each screw was included. Very sturdy once built, and engineering included screws in the last few steps to solidly secure parts to each other and improve rigidity. The shed had been through several thunderstorms with 60+ mph winds with no issue. Having the floor as part of the shed helps in building a sound structure. Easy to clean floor. Steel inserts do a great job in a solid skeleton in key points. Lessons learned to help others: Some of the screw points along the roofline from the inside at the front and back were only possible to reach using a screwdriver and required a lot of force so if you are using a drill or other powered driver be aware you may not be able to reach these. The roof panels DO expand quite a bit from heat, making them difficult if not impossible to slide in as indicated. My wife and I could not finish the roof the first day, but when I went out early the following morning when it was cool I was able to move the panels myself and get the final securing done. I had sorted the parts on my deck and the panels were in the hot sun for hours before needed. Perhaps keeping them in a shaded spot could have avoided this roadblock. Snapping on the roof edging on the walls requires a lot of force. and each piece requires a bit of puzzling out exactly which part to snap in first to make it easier.

It was pricey but home delivery made it worth it. Assembly was not to hard to figure out. I recommend using the website and written instructions. And to read through each step and don't jump ahead. All the parts were included and we'll marked. An electric screw driver and rubber mallet were about the only tools required. It took two days to complete only because of the heat we were enduring at the time. I am thoroughly happy with it's appearance. I am currently laying concrete pavers to give it a complete look. It really dressed up an ugly corner of my back yard. I already had a concrete pad and I plan on anchoring it down as it is an option. Even though it's only 8x6 there is plenty of room to fit my mower, dethatcher and other tools. I included a 4 ft folding work table. I wish it had included 2 sets of shelves or an option to purchase more but it works. We have had several rain storms and everything is nice and dry. I am installing a solar motion light on the inside for after dark but the window and skylight piece provide plenty of daylight with just one door open. The seller was also great to work with. I had delivery problems but they were quick to respond to me and stayed in touch as they pressured the delivery service after a week delay. So I give their customer service an A+.

I like this shed, but there are a few things that I take one star off for. First, it is made of polypropylene which is good, but be aware that caulking of almost all types will not adhere to its low surface energy (LSE); I placed the shed on a wooden platform with flashing all around the edges and wanted to seal where the outside of the floor meets the flashing to keep water form flowing underneath onto the wooden subfloor; the caulking just peeled away from the polyethylene; I'm now in the process of removing my original caulking, roughing up the polyethylene, flame treating the polyethylene, and applying a different caulking - so far that is working on a test section. Second, his does not just snap together easily as you might see on some YouTube time lapse videos; many of the screws must self tap into plastic which takes considerable effort. Finally, though I don't want to rate the shed itself lower because of this, the shipping company is whacko. They said they attempted delivery while the shed as still in Georgia (we are in Oregon); actually they tried to contact us, not attempted delivery. We needed a specific time for delivery as we would be away for several weeks, so we specifically picked it to arrive when Amazon said, which is when we would be home. To be sure, we researched and went on the shippers website and actually scheduled a delivery date and time; regardless of scheduling they delivered a week ahead when we weren't home. The next day we received an eMail saying they would be delivering it the day before. Luckily, the neighbor saw the truck arrive early and had them place it behinfd our gate on the RV pad.

I purchased this shed for my family. The specs on the shed matched everything I was looking for. I found it listed for $999. It’s a shame that the product is made so cheaply, so poorly, and packaged poorly. When I received the box it was slightly damaged, no big deal, I can understand that a 378 pound box is not easy to ship. Upon opening I was rested assured by a piece of paper with red ink in the box that if anything was missing or broken to contact the number on the piece of paper instead of contacting Amazon the seller. Unfortunately when dialing the number multiple times I was placed on hold for over 90 minutes before giving up on reaching a representative every time. I opened a claim three different times online to only be sent a case number by email and no response afterward. The customer service with this company clearly does not exist. You cannot reach a representative or get anyone on the line. If you are lucky enough to get this box without any missing parts or damaged pieces you are lucky. I on the other hand received the box with two missing pieces (part DL88) and a few damaged parts. All I had asked in my claim was for the two missing parts to be replaced and no one got back to me for over a week so I was forced to contact Amazon to return the product as it was just laying around partially assembled in my backyard, and let me tell you trying to put this 378 pound behemoth back into the box it came from was a project. It’s nearly impossible to pack it as 100+ pieces are included. My advice, stay away and stick with a USA based brand. Spend more money on better quality. Not to mention the floor is set up in so many different pieces that just walking on it makes it breaks the seams between the screws they have you put into it. They clearly made this model plug-and-play with other sizes which is why there are so many pieces, but the more pieces the more hassle.

We bought this shed to store our soccer supplies. It was set up at my home. Unfortunately it went thru 2 floods within 3 years. With that being said it has been a fantastic shed. It has held up well and was easy to clean once you got all of the mud out of it. It held its shape and didn't move. In fact, we tried to move it after the 2nd flood and was held together so well we didn't want to risk damaging it by taking it apart.

1. PREPARATION: Make your appointment and be prepared before it arrives by having the foundation done and your day FREE. We wanted extra room so we made it 9 x 12 ...We used pressure treated wood 4x 6x12 (thicker and higher than 2x4's but not necessary ) with concrete blocks under all 4 corners and some extra blocks around the middle. Then we covered it all with plywood. Its very sturdy. It was close to the fence -so to avoid weeds and grass we laid out plastic and filled it up with white rocks for a neat appearance. 2. SHIPPING -day 1: (ZERO STARS) I don't know if amazon uses XPO logistics for everything but they were a nightmare to deal with. Their truck was seized and my shed was never delivered. No one called me to tell me it wasn't coming until i called them. Everything I planned went to hell. 3. SHIPPING -day 2: I rescheduled again for the following saturday and it was supposed to arrive from (9-12) ...again - nothing. I called and to make a long story short the XPO rep was disgusting rude and condascending. After many cold transfers and being left in a black hole, I called Amazon and they were helpful in getting me some resolution. It finally arrived too late to build it - so i had to build it the next day. (IT TOOK ME 3 FULL DAYS because of the shipping nightmare) 4. BUILDING: It started with 2 and ended with 3 people. (TOOK 6 HOURS) (1 person opened all boxes and organized everything by sections, put all screws and small parts on a table, and read instructions) (the other two people: Put the peices together and YOU MUST HAVE an electric screw gun to nail in everything) IT IS VERY IMPORTANT that you DO NOT skip a step or you will regret it!!!!!! READ EACH STEP CAREFULLY. Whatever you do to one side- you must do on the other side! The WINDOW was very easy and looks nice. SUPPLIES/ MATERIALS (DAMAGED): Most of the parts were bent up, warped, stained, missing many screws, and many parts were broken. AFTER ALL I WENT THROUGH- There was no way in hell i would ever return it and start over - Id rather die! We tried to hide these parts in the back part of the shed. But unfortunately some of the front was still damaged. Panels were damaged, but the panels have to also click in to the pegs on the floor board. Those pegs were ALL broken - we managed to get a little click but I do not know how it will handle a lot of wind or storms. WE SHALL SEE. (see pics for the broken pegs) At the end- the roof had a section in the front where there is a GAP in the roof because of the front triangular wall panel being warped -so it didn't align well with the black roof panel. We still have to fix this somehow. Its going to rain the next 3 days so it will probably be flooded. We still have to buy screws for the inside flooring because we were missing MANY. It came with two shelves which were nice. (slide the shelf down the groove vertically, then turn it horizontally and put the board on top at the end. It is meant to go on the corner.) EXTRA: You can buy solar lights if needed. I plan to add some bushes or Pines around it to make it look nicer. AMAZON: I did get a lot of help and great customer service from AMAZON throughout my nightmare experience. Amazon does their best to help you - without their customer service I would have had nothing good to say.

Like most vinyl garden sheds, it has a bit of flex to the walls. I built it on a bed of mulch to raise it up off the ground, which helps keep the water from seeping up through the seams in the floor. The floor itself has flex to it, and the metals screws that are provided will work their way through the plastic and become hazards over time if you don't have a solid surface, as I learned. The flex in the floor also contributed to a gap between the floor and the walls, but I sealed it up with expanding foam (which will peel away easily so don't worry about overspray). The shed came with two in-wall shelves which you can install if you wish, but since they're going into vinyl walls I wouldn't want to put any serious weight on it. For that, I suggest buying plastic shelves that stand on their own. I was able to get my shed built over two days because I got a late start on each day. But, if you get cracking at sunrise, you can have the whole thing done by sunset if you power straight through. The floor is built first, so you can get a pretty good idea of the footprint the shed will need. The roof is corrugated vinyl that is supported by vinyl rails and metal struts. I had concerns about water leakage so I sealed the roof and the walls with expanding foam to keep out incidental water. So far it's survived some pretty strong rain and wind without any leaks that I can see. It's attractive and holds more than I thought it would, but I wouldn't plan on leaning anything against the walls or hanging anything from the rafters. Buy shelving units that can stand on their own without any structural support.

This is the second Keter 8 x 8 shed that we have. The first being 20 years old and still in good shape. The foundation is where most of the work and time was spent. Assembling the shed took me two six hour days and I did it by myself. Was kind of fun. Roof and sidewalls are a somewhat lite in comparison to the 20 years old shed, but adequate. That being said, they steel reinforced roofing area makes it very stable and strong. I would definitely buy again..

Best shed ever!!! Very sturdy, weatherproof, not very easy to put together but not that hard, spacious and beautiful.

I have three of these full size sheds. Two I have had for 4 years and use for garden and general storage. I have just bought a third for office storage. They are ideal.
