I like everything about these bars. The scent is very subtle. I didn't really smell much until I rubbed the wet bar on my face. Would I like it to smell stronger- yes. SHOULD it smell stronger- probably not. Things that are naturally fragranced are not going to have the same scent potency as something that uses artificial fragrance. If I wanted something that smells super strong, I would have to buy something more artificial, which is not what I want. The shape is perfect to hold and manipulate around my nose. I love the scrubbiness of this bar so much, I use it on my body, too. My face feels soft, smooth, and gently moisturized when I'm done. I still use a face oil when I get out of the bath, but my skin doesn't have a tight, stripped feeling from using the bar. The exfoliation is not to harsh or too light. You want something gentle for the face, but I definitely feel the sugar. I like this bar so much, I hope they turn it into a full size bar for the body someday. I feel really pampered when I'm rubbing this into my face. I love the subtle fragrance when I'm using it. Exfoliating perfection!

These last forever are very exfoliating but not drying at all. This planet does not need any more plastic packing!

Gentle, effective, lightly fragranced cleansing bar. It foams just a little and leaves skin feeling fresh and comfortable.

I have struggled with my skin being dry on top and oily on bottom, as well as dry flaky skin next to my nostrils for years. I tried everything for that including dandruff shampoos and treatments. Nothing ever fixed it. Since I am on a plastic-reducing journey I decided to try some Ethique products and got a small sample of this cleanser. When I say this soap, combined with the solid moisturizer, immediately got rid of my flakey skin... I am not joking. These two products have changed my life. I will never buy another set of products again. These have replaced everything else I could need for my face care. This soap is gentle enough to not give my skin that tight feeling like soap normally does after use. It lathers well and does mostly take off my makeup (it does not take off my waterproof mascara but does take off my normal mascara). It also lasts a REALLY long time. I use it daily and only need to reorder about twice a year. I couldn't recommend this soap more.

Love this! Great for oily skin. It cleans and removes oils and debris without drying out my skin. Plus it is so soft! The clay in it is very fine so it doesn’t feel abrasive at all. I buy this product recurrently. I will go back to buying straight from Ethique’s website though. Amazon ships it in a plastic mailer, which completely spits on the point of Ethique’s sustainable business model. I love that Ethique is a B corp. good stuff down the line. Make sure you have a soap stand to set it on! These used to come in 4 smalller pieces but have since switched to 2 larger pieces. No big issue since you are left with less soap scraps. But it makes having a soap stand more important! It will be used up very quickly if you leave it in water. Let it dry between uses with a soap stand or soap bag. It lasts me a long time like this. (Really you should do that with all of your bar soaps, never let them stand in water or you will find that they disappear quickly)
