SB-1000 Pro Sealed Subwoofer (Piano Gloss Black)

This speaker is small but packs a big sound. Even though its an entry level speaker from SVS it still delivers on the SVS sound. I needed a sub for my home office and this thing is incredible. The app to control the sub from a listening position also provides an incredible value allowing you to fine tune your listening experience. I bought this for 549 from this seller for a "like new" option and honestly it looks and sounds new. Came sealed and packaged as if it was straight from SVS. No blemishes or signs that it was ever used. At this price its a no brainer. It outlcasses my JBL jbl 550p and the Polk Audio PSW10 that this sub replaced. Incredible value, would recommend this product and seller. Shipping was also lighting fast showing up 2 days earlier then scheduled. Very happy with this purchase!

I purchased the SVS SB-1000 Pro to replace my aging Sunfire True Subwoofer purchased in 1997. The SVS did NOT disappoint! The bass is present and accounted for in all it's glory! I went with the gloss black version to match my Definitive Technology Studio Monitor 450's. It was indeed worth the extra hundred bucks for me, but if looks are unimportant or irrelevant to your situation, then by all means, save that extra money and go with the regular wood version. This sub works equally well with the all types of music, as well as all the latest blockbuster movies. You get a LOT of subwoofer for the money! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Originally tried the Polk HST-10 but could not match it up with my Triangle BR03’s. Always sounded boomy, heavy, and not detailed. The Borea’s reach to the low 40’s easily on their own so I really only needed 20-50hz augmentation. Found this one open box for $530 and at that price, I’m super happy. The app made a huge difference in dialing this into my Boreas. Fills in perfectly and is super tight and detailed without being overbearing.

Not impressed so far all I been hearing for year's is SVS.

I am using this subwoofer mainly for music appreciation. I had a subwoofer about 30 years ago and comparing the SB-1000 to it would be like comparing an Edsel to a Tesla. The sound is awesome. Most importantly, one can adjust it to seamlessly integrate the bass with your current system and your personal taste. I would recommend that you go to the SVS website and find their subwoofer matching tool as a starting point to make the initial settings to the subwoofer. The suggested settings were spot on to my Martin Logan speakers. I would also highly recommend using their bluetooth smartphone app as it will save you the hassle of getting out of your listening chair multiple times to make adjustments. Once the subwoofer is calibrated to your system and room, it brought the music alive. It was like having front row seats at a concert or theatre as opposed to being relegated to the cheap seats.

Bought this dub to replace a water damaged subwoofer during Texas winter freeze. Did not install subwoofer until house repairs were completed and missed the return date. Subwoofer is not loud enough for a12” sub even in a small room. Not even worth $200. Very disappointed.

Not good for music. Thought I wouod be able to get away 😪 cheap...sounds cheap.

Warning about delivery! A 700 pound sub just got left in my entry no notification I was lucky someone I new saw it. Amazon this is not acceptable! Maybe it wasn't a good idea buying electrical goods like this off amazon, I wont do it again. by the way sub is excellent and the app is a nice touch.

EN verdad es un excelente subwoofer. Su tamaño es pequeño pero su potencia es alta y no distorsiona. Su precio me parece alto, pero su calidad y diseño es superior. Se maneja bien desde la app.
