Probably not a newborn. I believe they are rated for 3months old and older. They fit my 5 month old grandson great, and are adjustable larger.

Just for sound. They need to be sucking or drinking something to help with the pressure.

These are very tight fit our kids. Please don't use these kind of things. I have purchased because my roof is aluminum sheets and rain causes huge noise while my baby sleeping. But currently i am using my hands protect his ears. He also learned to do the same

I headphones fit my 4m old baby very well. I bought the headphones to block out cheering from the Chicago Bears team winning to not scare my baby. Needless to say it worked very well the baby didn’t seem to notice any screaming or loud noises and remained calm. The headphones to slip off fairly easily so Simeon hm should be ready just in case to hold them in place. Worth the price definitely a must if you the baby will be in crowds or loud noises.

Perfect for 4th of July fireworks. Baby was able to enjoy the display without damaging his hearing. We heard some of the loudest booms and He never so much as flinched! They fit well, adjusted small enough to fit snuggly to his lil 4 month old head. Would highly recommend!
