NLT Compact Zipper Bible, Filament Enabled (LeatherLike, Charcoal Patch, Red Letter)

I love this Bible! It's super easy to read, even if the authoritative power of some phrases has been altered slightly In order to create better readability. Example: "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men," has been changed to "Follow Me, and I will show you how to fish for people." It sounds a little awkward, but it gets the point across. Otherwise, the readability and the listenability of the NLT is phenomenal. I'm reading more. I'm reading longer. I'm wanting more every day. That's a huge consideration for anyone who has ever struggled or been frustrated or lost interest in God's Word before. This translation is made to READ and it will make you hunger for more through the Holy Spirit! I love the full zipper on this Bible as well. Works great, and it's smooth and easy to open. Also, it lets the Bible lay very flat because it opens fully and that makes it easier to sit on a surface without wanting to close pages. The zipper keeps everything like notes, pens, and highlighters inside with room available. The size and weight of this Bible are perfect for me to hold with one hand and walk, or to sit on my lap. It's big enough to read comfortably for long stretches, and yet light enough to carry everywhere with me. The text size is generous for my eyes and easy to follow and is well aligned. Words of Christ in red. Footnotes are also handy and easy to see. The pages are very thin, and when you first open this Bible, they will stick together. But the magic is that as you read, they will separate and the next time they won't stick together. That's a great reason to get every page apart through daily reading. If you aren't using a Bible specific highlighter, you will get bleed through. Just buy a highlighter for the job, and it's fine though. The filament app is great! I love being able to scan the page number, and have the audio (3 readers to choose from) to listen to as I do chores, or to help me as I read for better understanding and learning things like location names and people's names. You can change the reading speed as well. The notes, guides, maps, and videos are fantastic for more in depth learning. The app is free, and it's something I use often. The price of this Bible is awesome, and the value for the money really can't be beaten. I will own several of these to give as gifts, as well as the smaller more compact versions for handing out to those who need the Word, but aren't always in a position to buy one for themselves. The greatest value of all is the free gift inside--Jesus!

I purchased this compact Filament Bible to keep with me when away from my home. The print is smaller than my other Bibles but I am able to read it easily enough with my reading glasses. I like the feel of the leatherlike cover, the way the Bible lies flat when open and the quality of the zipper. The cover is large enough to keep a small notebook, sticky notes and tabs in the Bible at all times. I have added an adjustable elastic band pen holder with a pen and highlighter for easy access and use. The best part of the Bible for me is the filament enabled app that allows me to have many notes and references available at all times. Bonus items include a verse finder, overview of the Bible, maps, and red letter Words of JESUS. I will continue to use my Every Woman's Bible at home, and this compact Bible when away from home.

This is great. The words are a readable size but still small. The cover is nice for imitation leather. This zipper works great and it keeps my notes from falling out. The maps and charts in the back are a great learning tool and are made to last. The words in red also make it easy comprehend. I totally recommend.

Love the zipper and outer cover - durable. Never have issues with pages being crumpled. Of course the print is small. Great tables at the back.

I've purchased more than one of these Bibles, just in different covers. This one I bought for my son. I highlighted a few verses for him with messages and prayers from me. He loves this Bible because he can take it wherever he goes. My Bible like this, has a different cover. I use it as a prayer Bible. It goes in my purse when I leave the house, and I use it throughout the day at work, at home, and by my bedside. Because it's so small, it has very small print. I have to use my readers with it, but I don't mind. We both love the filament option. I had thought it was just study notes, but there are also Bible reading plans and devotions.

Love this Bible. I have a large study Bible that isnt convient to carry around daily. This Bible fits in my purse and the letter are not to small to read. I love that it zips uo so the pages dont get damaged in my purse. Any women that had carred a book, planner etc in her purse knows.

I’ve bought this bible in February 2025. I purchased it because I wanted to the App it comes with. The App is amazing, I love the videos it has that explains some of the books. It’s visual. The app has maps for some areas. For example, I was able to see Paul’s traveling routes. I gave this Bible four stars because it has some verse’s missing just like other Bible’s. I noticed it skips Matt 17:21. Also, because this Bible is not meant for highlighting or even using a pen, it shows on the other side of the page, so I just use a pencil to underline certain parts. I reminded myself that this Bible is used for its compact size and not for note taking. I will continue using my other bigger Bibles to highlight and write notes. Almost forgot to mention, this got wet from my water bottle. I for sure thought the pages would stick together. The pages are wavy from the water after it dried, but I have no issues of pages sticking together at all. Hope this review helps.

Its good and compact. It would have been better 1. If Jesus was written as capital "H" instead of small "h". Here's for the reference. 2 Corinthians 8:9 New Living Translation You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9 New King James Version For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. 2. Some words are omitted, making it simpler. Therefore, it is better to go side by side with other versions. Here's the reference Luke 19:40 New Living Translation He replied, “If they kept quiet, the stones along the road would burst into cheers!” Luke 19:40 New King James Version But He answered and said to them, “I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.” The above verse, if u see, has omitted the word "immediately" which also has significance to understand the situation. But this has been omitted in NLT.

This was a gift, my brother loved it he can still read his bible when out of the house. Because of the cape he can put it in his scool bag without being scared to ruin the pages

I bought this Bible for the compact size with zipper and low cost, not expecting much about the cover or font size. It turned out to be a little gem, with tiny but readable font size and limited ghosting, sturdy but flexible cover and a zipper that extends until under the spine, which enables the bible to open up well and not shut close at Genesis and Revelation. This is the first imitation leather compact Bible that can do that for me. I write and underline with a ballpoint pen and there is no bleed through. This Bible works well with the filament app.

A bíblia é bem pequena, compacta mesmo, e as letras também então pode ser ruim para quem não consegue ver muito bem, mas pra mim foi ideal, não ocupa muito espaço e tem zíper, achei incrível! O ponto negativo é que as folhas são extremamente finas, muito fáceis de serem amassadas ou estragadas, então tem que ter bastante cuidado com as folhas. De resto, amei a bíblia, tão pequena e com tanta informação, páginas com informações adicionais no final, muito legal, recomendo demais.
