The magnetic clip is great. Makes my job so much easier. High quality accessory from Klien Tools, the magnet performs well and is versatile. The meters both felt secure and stabil. It fits both my cl700 clamp meter and my et450 wire tracer and is strong enough to support either one of them. My only regret is not buying a second one, because I did not think about my et450 and wasn't sure it would be strong enough after I noticed the notch on the back to test it, but I'm glad I did test it.

I was a bit disappointed that my new Klein multimeter did not have any type of loop or hole built in the case. I bought this strap that securely clips onto the back. Now I can hang the multimeter on my pegboard easily. I tried the magnet in the end, with the meter attached, on the outside cover of our circuit board. It is very strong. I have no concerns that the meter will fall. They have another version where there is no strap, but you can't hang the meter on a pegboard or anything else with that option. I'm glad I bought the Klein version as there were plenty of knockoff products available. I saw one review mentioned something about the Velcro, which I did not understand. The Velcro seems plenty strong to me, and it has some small amount of adjustment.. It's the first time I've had a magnet on a multimeter and I'm sure it will prove quite handy. Yet another great idea from Klein.

First off, huge fan of the Klein brand and they are overly represented in my tools, but honest, practical assessments are ingrained in my methods. That being said, this does what it's supposed to just fine, but the magnets could be larger and/or thicker, making them stronger. Aside from that, good overall design and quality, a stronger magnet could make this useful in many other ways.

Perfect fit on my MM420. I prefer this strap over just the magnet so it can be hung where there is no magnetic surface. When it is attached to a magnet surface it feels very secure in place and doesn't move around.

Bought the magnetic hanger to fit on my Kline CL390 clamp meter. Snug fit, latches on tightly, takes some effort to release it. Magnet holds the meter on a metal surface easily. Also purchased a case for the meter, with the magnet/hanger installed on the meter it was not a good fit in the case. But by reversing & turning the cutout foam liner upside down, it fit perfectly and the case closed properly (see pic). Take note: when using the meter in DC uA mode, the magnet must be removed because it will screw up the meter’s readings, this is per the manufactures instructions.

Very useful—I adapted it to my equipment, and it's out there working in the field.
