Review: These little guys work! Easy, Inexpensive Fix! - Used these awesome little LEDs to replace defective bulbs in my Windster Range Hood. My hood lights were flashing intermittently which was incredibly annoying. I tried 3 different sets of replacement lights that all had the correct connections (one round + one square), however none worked properly due to voltage compatibility with the LED driver for my unit. I decided to take the OEM lights apart and discovered the tiny bulbs inside. I was thrilled to find these replacements. A couple tips: You need to solder the connections. Use your phone's camera to zoom in on the bulb to identify the positive and negative terminals. The copper wire is usually the positive lead and silver the negative (it was at least for my wiring). Super cheap fix and the bulbs and brighter, better color (warm white) and I have 8 more bulbs in case they burn out. Highly recommend! Cheers!
Review: These are perfect for my needs. - OK, please keep in mind that I just got these yesterday so this is an out of the pack review. These little guys are very bright. I got the 6000K rated bulbs and the white is very pure without too much blue that tends to be blinding. I tested all ten and they all performed as described. I used these to light up a rather deep pantry type cabinet we have because it is hard to see things toward the back. I connected them through a couple of micro switches on the doors so that they come on when a door is opened. To keep it simple I powered them with two 'C' cell batteries. The 6000K light color is perfect for seeing and reading the labels. Before purchase, I had asked a question about the need for a heat sink and got a couple good answers back (thank you). Now I can answer that question myself. I think the 1 watt units would probably be OK without a heat sink although that may have an impact on the bulb life. I left one on for about 20 minutes and it was only slightly warm. I have not checked the 3 watt bulbs yet but, I would guess that they would probably fair better with heat sinks. In any case, I did use heat sinks on mine just to be safe. You will need to be able to solder them to the sinks yourself and I do suggest using heat sink paste. All in all, a great little light source. Especially for the cost.

I bought these for making custom blinker lights on my motorcycle I asked the seller for the related PDF for the LEDs days ago at the Time of this review and he is yet to post it or let me know where to find the PDF for those of you who are curious use anywhere from 30ohms-37ohm at 12 volts I will likely use a slightly higher oh value due to the 2 volt Spike that occurs from the "alternator" maybe a series 3-4ohms resistance will do if necessary I created a test circuit shown in the photo to determine the needed resistance and the luminosity in person and yes they are bright as hell at 1 watt when current limiting resistor is applied these LEDs need 2 volts or a little more
