The Seawing Nova fins combine classic SCUBAPRO fin technology with the latest innovations in hydrodynamic design, creating the perfect combination of fit and fun for cruising the underwater world. The fin’s unique articulated design enables the wing-shaped blade to pivot and generate thrust, helping you rocket through the water at top speed or ease in and out of tight spots. Made of a space-age Monprene elastomer, the Seawing Nova is virtually indestructible through years of hardcore diving and snorkeling. SCUBAPRO’s Pivot Control Technology maintains the most efficient 45-degree angle of attack no matter how easy or hard you kick. Don and doff the fins with ease using the marine-grade bungee strap, which is self-adjusting, comfortable, and durable. Driven to constantly innovate and improve the diving experience, SCUBAPRO builds flawless equipment for the work, sport, and lifestyle of people whose passion is found below the surface. Mix and match your gear with a variety of fin colors; weighs roughly 3.5 pounds per pair, depending on size; one-year warranty. Review: These are a replacement for my existing fins - exact same ones. I’ve had my existing fins for close to a decade and they have been used almost weekly. Pool use is a little tough on fins and the existing fins are showing some give. Will continue to use my old ones in pools and use the new ones for vacation dives. Review: I’m an open water instructor and I’ve owned or used a number of different fins, The Nova is a cut above, try them and you won’t be satisfied with anything else. They are very efficient at both flutter and frog kicks, and yes, they back up well too. The bungee heel and large loop make donning and doffing a snap. They are slightly positively buoyant which I really like. Much of my diving is shore dives in rivers and lakes with poor visibility. Gearing up is often done in the water and if I drop one I don’t have to spend much time looking for it. About the only negative I have about the fin is acceleration. It takes a couple of kicks to get up to speed but the top end is fast, very fast. As for size I use a Mares Triboot in 5mm size 12 with a hard sole. The chart recommends large, barely. I found the fit to be too snug for my liking and went to X-Large, That fit seems perfect.

Less effort and float too

Great quality, very comfortable fins. If you have narrower feet you will definitely need boots to take up the space side to side as these were made to accommodate people with wider feet.
