I’ve had my existing fins for close to a decade and they have been used almost weekly. Pool use is a little tough on fins and the existing fins are showing some give. Will continue to use my old ones in pools and use the new ones for vacation dives. They are slightly positively buoyant which I really like. Much of my diving is shore dives in rivers and lakes with poor visibility. Gearing up is often done in the water and if I drop one I don’t have to spend much time looking for it. About the only negative I have about the fin is acceleration. It takes a couple of kicks to get up to speed but the top end is fast, very fast. As for size I use a Mares Triboot in 5mm size 12 with a hard sole. The chart recommends large, barely. I found the fit to be too snug for my liking and went to X-Large, That fit seems perfect.
