Sore Throat Spray, Menthol, 6 fl oz, 3 Bottles

This Chloraseptic sore throat spray is a lifesaver. When I start getting a sore throat just spraying a few times keeps my throat numb for a little while, but I feel a lot better. Best to use when you start feeling the sore throat coming on. It is not a cure for any throat issues that needs medication, but it still is soothing and does the trick. I buy the three pack so I can share with other family members. I continue to buy this product.

As a child (some 40+ years ago) anytime I would get a sore, raspy or hoarse throat, my Mom would break out the green Chloraseptic spray. I now know it to be menthol flavor, but as a kid it was the green Chloraseptic and I loved the green stuff and swore it could cure any ill I had. (anything to avoid that nasty tasting medicine, even to this day) And anytime my Mom got out the 'green spray' she would tell me how her Mother would give it to her as a child, too. I am thrilled I can purchase it here, on Amazon, because I found that stores do not carry the menthol Chloroseptic anymore, and I had feared it was discontinued. (as with so many products I get attached to-) Only the cherry flavored Chloraseptic is what I see in stores, nowadays, and to that I say, No, thank you. I am loyal to the green. I bought 3 bottles. (that will last me 3+ years) Maybe I should order 3 more. (I would be so distraught if the menthol Chloraseptic ever did become unavailable) Yeah, I need to go now. I just remembered something I wanted to order online.

Great product and arrived on time

I agree that the taste is not so pleasant, but it is not something that is long lasting. I suffer from constant itchy and dry throat. It's due to my coffee which I am not giving up. I have drank it since I was a child and I'm age 54 at present. In getting older I have given up much, and am simply not willing to give up my coffee (Taster's Choice with Coffeemate-Original). This coughing started a couple years ago and it took a while to figure out what was causing it (the doctor had no clue either), till I ran across an article written by someone going through the same. I experimented just as they did. I went a whole day without it and was not coughing, but I developed a migraine due to no caffeine. I love coffee, I'm not giving it up, so I have tried MANY different things to combat the coughing. I keep chloraseptic and Halls cough drops on hand always now. I keep one bottle in the living room and there is another on my night stand. It literally numbs my throat. But also, I don't cough again for a good while after a shot of this stuff. So between the two I have the relief I have been looking for. In having that relief, I don't mind a couple seconds of a "not so pleasant" taste. Again, the taste is not something that is horrendously bad, and the taste is not long lasting - the relief lasts a while, the taste does not..

Aim well, it really does numb. It really does work to sooth an aching throat. If you misfire. it may relieve aching gums.
