Build quality is not completely satisfactory, maybe that's the reason for low cost and thats why rated 3 stars. Probe quality should be improved, its slightly loose and would become problematic after long use. The batteries that came with the instrument were almost dead, useless and not best quality. Its better that supplier NOT provide the batteries and deduct the cost. Its better if an ac adapter socket was provided as well for backup power. During testing, I found that it would display zero for shorts and also the display would blank out after few seconds. I thought the instrument was faulty and was planning to return. However, when I checked the instrument batteries, they were almost dead and the instrument worked fine with new batteries. One suggestion is that during cable test, it should be noted that no other meters are connected to the cable, else it would provide wrong info. I was testing incoming power cable with voltage supply disconnected at the source. The meter was displaying low resistance and later on i realized that the low resistance is due to an energy meter which was in the circuit. So, one should be aware of any such connections, else its possible that the meter readings are wrongly interpreted. Later, I used a test lamp method with voltage generated from an inverter to test the cable and it helped to identify the problem. The megger just acted as supplementary test. I also tested this instrument with various high value resistors like 1M, 4.7M, 10M, 100M and it displays the right value.

1.The product is showing any reading 2.when I short + & - it is not showing 0 reading 3. When i check 29 k resistor it is showing 1893 or something else because of damage display i couldn't understand 4. They have given calibration certificate but it is not calibrated other wise it would not show this reading
