Great brand for step bits
Amazing bit. I use step bits a lot at work and this brand seems to hold up very well. Nice and sharp and start pretty well.

Worth the money
Boy oh boy am I glad I bought this step bit over the cheaper ones I was considering. I needed to cut a bunch of different sized holes in a 1/4-inch-thick piece of hard aluminum, which I'm using on a home-built router table. I initially looked at other cheaper unibits that claimed to be made of cobalt or titanium, but I learned long ago that you can't go cheap when it comes to tools. You always get what you pay for, especially when it comes to tools. But this bit cost five times that of the cheaper ones, so it was not an easy decision. This bit arrived on time and came in a nice plastic storage case. It was well-oiled and quite sharp. Its quality is noticed the moment you pick it up and feel its solid weight. Drilling the holes was like using a hot knife through butter. Using the "1" speed on my power drill, I was able to completely bore through the aluminum within about a minute or two. The bit remained cold to the touch immediately after drilling several holes. The flutes/blades still remain very sharp with no signs of chipping or marring. Do not waste your time and money with the bargain bits. Get this one and use it for a lifetime.

This Temo step drill ROCKs!!
My budy told me about the cheap step drill he bought taking him 1/2 hour to drill through his stainless steel sink as it dulled almost immediately one step to the next. I did some YouTube research and found that this Temo drill was ranked 2nd to the more expensive Dewalt which is made in the identical configuration, 2 spiral flutes, as the Temo, w/only 1 difference, the Dewalt was coated with a golden plating. I ordered the Temo online and got it the next day from Amazon, Free S&H! I drilled a 3/16ths pilot hole so the tip of the Temo would have a start hole, even though it said you need not do more than hammer a nail mark to have your centering. I set up my iPhone next to the sink and to my Pleasure/Surprise this SOB cut the 1" inch hole in Less the 10 SECONDS, w/out a single bured/damaged edge on Any Step. I actually Repeated that process on a 2nd 1" hole for the soap despenser. The bit could be returned to seller and No signs of wear can be detected. My other main selling point was the nice plastic professional holding case that my Temo is now resting in. One more hint for you to use is Never try to cut stainless steel with Any Oil At All. Oil will heat up and start to possibly melt/dull your step bill cutting edges. WATER is the coolant of choice.

TEMO M35 Cobalt Step Drill Spiral Flute
I did a lot of research before I ordered this drill. Temo seems to fall above average when compared to equal priced drills. It arrived very quickly and it comes in a protected plastic case. I used it right away and it cuts like butter. Mine came with a hex end, so I can used it in any drill motor. I am going to order more of these, in different sizes, from this same dealer. If you are not going to spend in the hundreds of dollars, this is the one to buy.

best one i have bought so far!
it is definitely the best step drill i have ever bought, it goes though metal poles like plastic, sharper then my drilling screws, got a little rust over the rain, but it will probly get off with some WD oil, used it for about 3 months and it still drills like its new, recommended for sure...
