UPDATE (March 2023) - One power supply/AC adaptor went bad (of my 4 sets of lights), so I purchased another set, just to get a compatible replacement - The new "extension" light strips (meaning not the first strip, that has the button) look identical to the old ones, and connect and light up together - The first strip, with the button and which connects to the AC adaptor, looks different (I like the look of the older ones better) but works fine - THE NEW AC ADAPTER IS BLACK. The old ones were white, matching the strips themselves which were and still are white. It's not all bad, because the black AC adapter is much lower profile and sticks out less from the plug, BUT IT'S BLACK. It plugs into the old LED strip just fine. ORIGINAL (June 2022) These are a total win: if you're on the fence, buy them. - Nice and bright (I think in one of the questions it says 200 lumens per 20 inch light strip) - The 4000K strips are a nice white color - Installation is about as easy as it gets: peel the backing off the light strip and stick it up. It also comes with 6 or 8 little plastic clips which are also peel and stick to hold up the wire between the first light strip and the power outlet. - Multiple kits work off the same remote with no programming required (what I wanted, for three separate cabinets around the kitchen) - Comes with a few 3 inch and a few 5 inch connecting cables, so you can (1) connect light strips directly together, so no additional light between strips, or (2) connect the light strips with the cables in between to basically give you a longer total light emission length. - You CAN cut the strips, anywhere you see the three little copper pieces on the strips, to customize the total length. Two separate cabinets in my kitchen are both a little over 30 inches across: for those, I connected two light strips directly together and cut off about half of the second strip, to keep the brightness similar to my other, 8ft cabinet. We'll see how the adhesion of the tape holds up (I cleaned the cabinet before I installed the first long length of light strips, forgot about this when installing the two shorter lengths) but if I end up having to mess with that it will likely be my fault. FYI, I saw a few reviews talking about remote issues, specifically that their TV remote would mess with the lights. No issues with my LG Magic Remote (circa 2018), which is bluetooth and IR.

Mounted quickly and easily. It is important to clean all surfaces you are going to "peel and stick" anything to with alcohol or something like it. Each kit will cover over 13 feet of counter/cabinets. I used three kits to cover all the counters we have because there is not a good way to bridge the gap across the stove or across the window opening with a single kit. Using three kits it does occupy three outlets but we have a lot of plugs so that was not an issue. We got the warm white light (2700K color) so it would not seem like such harsh lighting. Any one of the remotes operates all three sets of lights so you don't have to use separate remotes for each set. Made a huge difference for Lovely Wife working in the kitchen.

I recently moved house and the lighting in my new kitchen is awful! It’s one large florescent light in the middle of the ceiling that leave the counter top areas looking pretty dark. I needed to fix that, stat! I’m not an electrician or a handywoman, and I’m not made of money, so I needed a solution that was economical and easy to install. These LED strip lights were exactly what I needed! I was surprised at how small the package of the lighting kit was, but everything I needed was in there. I got the dimmable neutral white lights because I just need to be able to see what I’m doing. After reading the instructions and giving the underside of my upper kitchen cabinets a good scrub (if your haven’t looked at the underside of those cabinets in a while, you might be surprised at how dirty they are. Ew!), I was ready to plan the layout. I bought a pair of extra-long connectors, but it turns out they were not needed. The lighting kit comes with enough 3” and 5” connectors to cover any gaps where you don’t want lights. The adhesive on the back of the light strips is super sticky. Don’t press the strip down hard until you have the strip you are working on place where you want it. Also be sure to place the in-line controller in a place where you have line-of-sight if you want to use the included remote to turn the strip lights on and off. It probably took me about an hour to an hour and a half to install these lights. That includes the scrubbing time. It was super easy and I didn’t need any special tools. For ease of use, I also bought a plugin with two wireless light switches to turn the lights off and on when entering or leaving the kitchen. These lights work great with this plug and switches! I still have to use the remote or the in-line controller to dim the lights, but I don’t mind. We have been using one of the brighter settings as the default light and it’s lovely! We can see what we’re doing while preparing food. We like using the strip lights at night for soft lighting in the kitchen instead of having to use the harsh overhead light. And since the strip lights plug into the wall, I never have to think about recharging or replacing batteries. Now, since I only recently installed these strip lights, I cannot speak to their durability or longevity. That’s why I only gave it 4 stars. However, this strip light kit is one of the best things I’ve bought for my house so far!

I purchased this kit to repair some Christmas yard decorations that we've had for a long time and needed some repair. I didn't use it for its intened purpose as undercabinet lighting, but I wouldn't be afraid to if I needed it for that. I didn't need it for that though because I had already installed undercabinet led lighting previously. I wished I had used this kit though, it would've been cheaper and just as good as what I installed myself. Oh well, it served its purpose as a repair kit for the yard decorations. Its pretty well made and was exposed to the elements outside and held up just fine. It came with a remote for controlling the lighting from a distance, but there is a contoller built into the strip so the remote is not always necessary. There was a supply of connectors and plastic hooks that can be stuck into place and hold the led strip in place where needed.

A simple and inexpensive solution to add more light to the kitchen. It really transformed the room adding much needed light.

Worked great until they quit working less than a year.

Love my new kitchen lights. They were easy to install. Had to think about it a bit how I wanted to do it. Sticks well. Has extra sticky tape included. You need to order sets based on the plug-ins you need. Each package only has one plug. I used 2 sets to light up 2 sides of my kitchen. I just ordered two more because I need a plug for both sides of my stove. I'll have plenty of light sections left if any of the ones I'm using burn out.

I would not recommend this product. 1) the connections are very weak and you MUST use the little clips and hope for the best. The clips are hard to get on the connection, but the only way to keep the two connectors together. I spent a lot of time trying to figure that out. 2) The remote stopped working after 1 day. I tested the remote with the lights before putting the lights up. The dimmer part didn't work all that well, but I figured I'd just keep them at one setting. I wanted these for the TOP of my cabinets. After installing them, I set the dimmer to what I wanted, got down from the ladder and admired my handiwork. I turned the lights off with the remote, then turned them back on. The dimmer did not stay at the setting, so I had to leave it bright. When I went to turn them off, they did not turn off with the remote. I had to get my ladder, and climb back up, thinking maybe the remote wasn't reading the light part, so I moved the part up where you could see it, and it still didn't work. Back up the ladder, I aimed the remote directly at the light part and the lights did not come on. 3) I felt the plug, and it felt over-warm, which shouldn't happen on LED lights like this. I manually turned the lights off and will throw them in the garbage. I don't know if I got a bad set or if this is the way these are, but I have another brand of LED strip lights similar to these that work just fine. I would recommend another brand, but not these.

The lights look so nice, have had many compliments on them.

Compre luz blanca natural. Da muy bonita luz. Alumbra todo muy bien. Fue fácil de instalar. Las extensiones son muy util si quieres dejar un espacio sin luz abajo de la campana. Puedes ajustar la luz con su control remoto o directamente. Me encantaron. Los recomiendo al 100%.

Lo único q no funciona bien es el pegamento. Tienes q ponerle otro para que pegue. Pero funciona increíble. Lo puse en mi cocina y me ayudó a iluminar súper bien.

Es fácil de instalar, puedes programar el tiempo en que permanecerán prendidos.

Funciona pero es muy delgada y frágil!
