I used all the compartments plus I had healthy snack options like protein bars that were packed in the little outside compartments. All of theses things probably weighed a good 6 1/2 to 7 pounds. It has held up good & I use it everyday for the last six months. It can get a little unbalanced if I don't position everything right & spill out into the bag, but that is to be expected because bag would be great for these types of things to be carried in it if it was a little deeper and that way it would balance stuff out better. It really depends on what you are going to be toting in it. I use it to transport my liquids & snacks daily that I drink & eat to get them from the car to my office at work. If you are going to be using it for what it is designed for it's probably going to be fine for weight cause crafts are much lighter. **Q: is there someway to remove the big brand tag with out messing up the bag? Thanks** A: I don't think so, and it's big. Never thought about removing it. You probably could but it might rip the material. Hope that helps you. They are dandy useful totes. **Q: How long, how wide?** A: Don't really know how wide or long but I do know I carry 3 shakes in Blender Bottle cups,1 yeti cup & a skinny aluminum coffee cup and it can get to be be pretty heavy, but I love it b/c my drinks don't spill and everyone of them have their own slot to be in. I use the middle section for small containers & snacks to have a place to be transported while walking in from parking lot to my office. The pockets in front I use for small stuff like pens or my badge, keys or even clippers or dental piks or floss. Its a great organizer and very sturdy so far. I would buy another in a different color.
