My first one I had for about a year before it went bad and just for the price I grabbed another one and have not had it quite a year yet. Overall this mic sounds great, I film mostly YouTube videos and it's awesome, but the BIG PROBLEM with this mic for me is that if you try to run a wireless mic simutaniously (I run mine through the top handle of the Sony fx-30, wireless mic and Boya mic where you can get 4 channel audio) then you get a horrible feedback buzzing sound. I have tried other Mics with no issues but every brand of wireless mic I tried running at the same time as the boya gave me the same awful buzzing sound. if you aren't planning on using wireless mics with it then its a pretty decent affordable option, but if you plan on using wireless mics do not buy this! ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars this mic is not reliable *by S***L on Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2024* We purchased this mic in October and tried several times to record videos with it. We kept trying to edit the sound on the video because of loud frequency sound every time a word with an "s" sound was recorded.
