The EGO Power+ AH1300 15" String Trimmer Head Assembly is excellent! It offers precise cutting with minimal hassle, and the installation was quick and straightforward. The performance is impressive, making yard work much more efficient. A top-notch upgrade for any trimmer!

This is purchased as a replacement for the trimmer head that ships with the ST1500. That one is trash, one of the worst designed products of any type that I've owned. If you have used one, you know the problems. This one is much better. Firstly it's easy to install. The cap is MUCH easier to open with the two button tabs. It doesn't "rapid load" and requires hand-spooling, but the original black model doesn't feed string properly and requires constant opening and reloading, so in all practicality, this is much quicker and easier to use. I'm glad I didn't let the original one frustrate me to the point that I wrapped my new trimmer around a tree, and instead kept my cool and bought this replacement. So far, so good but if it proves to be junk like the original, I'll come back and revise. Bottom line - don't fight with that black trimmer head, get this one!

Major improvement over the original head that came with my ST1500SF. Much easier to open and close, wind, and bump feed. Easy to install. No complaints at all. It turned my trimmer into a whole different machine, in a very good way. This is the head they should have shipped with the trimmer in the first place.

Wish I could have put a self winding head on my Ego weed eater, but they’re not compatible. That said, this is replacing an older style head, and this new one seems a lot easier to work with. Install was fairly straightforward and didn’t take long.

First let me say I went through a great deal of frustration finding a part for mu EGO string trimmer. Nothing was available at the big box stores and the parts I sourced from Amazon Ads did not fit my model (ST1500SF-FC) despite advertising otherwise. I finally decided to purchase an entire head assembly (AH1300 15-Inch String Trimmer Head with Pre-Wound Spool), was able to install it in less than five minutes and it works beautifully. Additionally, the original head assembly was so poorly engineered that string replacement was a half-hour swearing match (which usually had to be re-done several times), and this new set-up is more straight forward (like my old commerical gas model) and should be faster and less frustrating on a hot day. Very happy with this new part.

Worked perfect

Installation was a breeze. However, it does not work. My string trimmer turns on briefly and then shuts off. Other times it runs and then just turns off by itself. I checked and my battery to rule that out - it is fine used in my other Ego products. I ended up buying a new string trimmer with autoload.

Good for older ego trimmers that are wearing out. Especially when on sale. As always check your model and parts numbers. Has kept my 7year old trimmers working as new!

Super! I attached the Erbauer EGT18LI, they match perfectly, they are identical to the one from EGO. I didn't expect to find this detail (considering that the Erbauer company does not sell parts for its products).

This is the replacement for the st1500-s! Perfect fit, easy to follow installation instructions, and same quality as the original.

I would just like to point out to my fellow Canadians. That these parts fit the Mastercraft trimmers too.
