He is pure soft rock ballads and pop songs. If you like that kind of music, you will like this. If that kind of music is not up your alley, you won't.

A good collection of Richard Marx's hits
If you were listening to pop and/or adult contemporary/soft rock music in the late 1980s into the early 1990s you heard Richard Marx's songs, a lot. All nine of his top ten hits, including, of course, the three that went to number one, including Right Here Waiting, Hold on to the Nights, and Satisfied are included here. The other big hits include songs like Endless Summer Nights, Angelia, Hazard, and Now and Forever. Marx has certainly been around long enough that people will know if they like him or not. Some really great songs from a truly amazing artist
Now, to start things off, there isn't really very much I can say about this album. The ~MAIN~ reason that I got this album was for the song "Angel's Lullaby" which Richard wrote for his 3 sons when they were children. I think the song is so hauntingly beautiful & speaks so much about how much he loves them & how proud of a father Richard is. Moving on...as usual, alot of the songs on this album are still amazing just as they are in the original albums, even though this came out in 1997! There's no doubt about that at all. But for the most part, I think this is a very good album with some of his timeless classics that people can enjoy for years to come. Reason I gave this album a 4 star & not give it a 5 star rating is because of the fact that I already have alot of the hits that are on this CD from previous CDs & didn't really feel the need to add them all to my Ipod when I already have them to begin with. That being said, still a good album for the most part :)

たまたま見た、彼の来日コンサートのCMに流れてた曲が良くってネットで検索して購入。ベストヒット的なくくりなら、CMに使われた曲も入ってるだろうと思いこのアルバムにたどり着きました。思ったとおり収録されていて満足！他の曲も素敵で購入して良かったです。歌手としてはヒット曲を出し続けられた人とは言えない様ですが、有名歌手などに楽曲提供したり、今も日本でコンサート開ける方なので実力のある方なのですね！商品の状態も良かったです。
