South Shore Versa 2-Drawer Nightstand, Gray Maple

Love this furniture. I put both nightstands and the 6 drawer dresser together by myself (I am a 60 year old lady with arthritis pretty much everywhere). It would have been easier with two people (which the instructions recommend) but it just took me a little longer to do alone. The first nightstand took about 2 hours, the second one was under an hour. It helps a lot if you understand how to use a cam lock (I think this company calls them Kwik Kams or something). Once you get the hang of using those, these become very easy to assemble and incredibly sturdy furniture. But these are NOT top of the line hardwood furniture. For the money they are pretty amazing. Still, if you think these are flimsy you probably did not get the cam locks working correctly. I saw other reviews where people had problems with the handles not tightening. On some of the handles, the little channel for the screws to go into are too short therefore making the screws too long. You can either shorten the screws with one of those little screw shortener or more simply, get a little box of flat washers for about 2 bucks and put a washer or two on the screw and then tighten them down and they will now tighten all the way. Out of about 12 handles I had to put washers on 10 of them. Nobody would ever know they are there. I am very happy with this furniture and it goes with my faux leather white headboard very nicely. The only thing to mention might be that depending on what other colors you have in your room or what color your carpet is, the grey color might have a slightly green tint.

I'm not joking when I say it took 3 years for us to find our perfect nightstands. When I came across these, it was an instant "add to cart" because the style and price. Easy to assemble, great quality, sturdy, and beautiful. We will now be buying the entire bedroom set!

My wife & I have been looking for a nightstand to replace a very small one. This is the perfect size for the space in which we wanted to place it. We like the color. The nightstand was very easy to assemble; I only had one small issue that I corrected before I go to far past that point. (I usually get almost completely through an assembly project before realize I got something backward or out of order. We're considering ordering another one.

I ordered two of these nightstands for either side of my king bed, and they fit quite well in my room, while still providing ample storage for bedside items. The assembly took a little bit less than an hour with all of the correct tools, but it has nice, thick, solid wood and it came together exactly as the instructions described. The back is a very flimsy board, but as it does not bear any weight and is not seen, this was not a problem for me. The drawers are on metal gliders, making them very easy and smooth to access. The drawers were also very spacious - I have more space than I need at the moment, but that is not a problem that troubles me. Due to the wood quality, these nightstands are quite heavy, so be prepared for some careful lifting when they arrive and when assembling. All in all, I would highly recommend this nightstand, and I will probably order two more for my children.
