Exactly as advertised... and best place to purchase it
These days, what with the nightmare goings on in places like Flint, Michigan, the concept of drinking ones city water has become of paramount importance and concern. It’s rather sad, since as a little boy I remember the joy of filling a glass of water out of the tap, or best yet drink out of the garden hose, a specially on hot summer afternoons. Now, you’re told not to drink the tap water, and that most garden hoses themselves are full of carcinogen contaminants!I remember, when our own tap water in my city was compromised after a flood, and we were told not to drink the water until it was cleaned up, I also began to notice that the tap water itself had lost its crystal clean taste. So we began to get bottled water. And when I moved from home I continued that practice for many years. That is, until I began to discover green algae in the bottled water, and found the customer service from this extremely well known company to be virtually nonexistent, and having them claim I was putting the algae in myself, just so they did have to refund me the bottle! It was then too, that I discovered that most of these bottled water companies are simply pooling their source water from the city itself and sometimes running it through filters. Point is, these expensive waters did not come from any artesian well or mountain stream! From the days as a boy when we started using bottled water, I always thought, wouldn’t it be wonderful if the makers of refrigerators would install water filters and inputs to our water supply, so that we could have cold water and clean pure ice cubes. I remember on TV there was an external rather “Rube Goldberg” contraption, that sort of did this for you. But like most things advertise at 3:00 AM on television, it was worthless. That of course, companies like Frigidaire started doing just that. And, in conjunction with what I think is one of the great inventions of the 20th century: the external water/ice cube dispenser! So why was thrilled when I purchased my first frigid air with both this door dispenser and of course a water filtration system. I’ve been using these Frigidaire replacement filters for over 10 years now. They truly do give you pure great tasting water. Several years ago, I had a neighbor who actually worked for the Department of Water and Power, in their testing labs, and as a favor he took samples of the water that was run through these filters to test them. I don’t know why I was surprised, but he told me that everything these filters promised to filter out, did indeed do the job. Comparing the regular water to the filtered water, he said that there was a significant difference. Not that the city water was anything like Michigan’s, but just in the matter of taste and filtration these truly were an improvement. They are also enormously easy to install, and on the door of the refrigerator is a “status filter light”, that will turn yellow when one needs to reorder, and red when the filter is no longer efficient. Not sure if this in itself is connected to any kind all of sophisticated calculation, and most likely is timed to go off once a year, but these filters should be replaced once year anyway, so it’s just a good reminder. So for the other Frigidaire owners, I cannot recommend this highly enough. It arrives quickly, and the price has continued to beat any other online store.

This is one of my favorite serials ever. It’s sexy, sassy, funny and dark. This serial belongs to the dark and brooding Sean Ferro. He’s the first Ferro I was introduced to, and he holds a piece of my heart. As the series start out, Sean is very mysterious, and to be honest – 15 volumes in (when I’m writing this review), he still is a bit of an enigma. There is still a lot to be learned. He’s a dark SOB, this one. He’s got his fetishes, but holy wow is he delicious. And scary. Seriously, I love him – but if I had known him IRL I would have been scared s***less, and kept my distance. Then we have Avery. This girl’s got some spunk. I mean she has to, given that Sean is her love interest. She’s a struggling student when we first meet her, and when her best friend, Mel, realizes this, she reveals what her REAL job is. She’s a high dollar call girl. Ms. Black latches on to Avery immediately, and if Avery just takes one client, it could solve all her problems. She only has to say yes. Problem is she only wants one guy, Sean. Enter: a s***load of trouble.“I’m rewarded, uh, I mean punished, with a slap to my backside.” - AveryThis is an erotic romance, and you can expect some mighty steamy scenes. Some of the volumes more so than others, because there is a hell of a lot going on in this series. The Arrangement, and Sean basically, was the catalyst for all the other books from this same world. Sean has made an appearance is in every spin-off so far. So this is obviously a great place to start if you are curious about H.M. Ward’s books. Just remember to start at the beginning. You would not understand half of what’s going on if you jumped into it halfway through. It’s important to note that this is a fan driven series. Essentially that means that as long as the fans want more, there will be more. And I honestly can’t picture the day we won’t want more. So if that is not for you, I recommend you go pick up something else, because this story has been going on for a good while now, and I certainly hope it will go on for a long time to come – as long as Holly wants it to.Another important note is that these are split up in volumes, and each one end on a cliffhanger (Holly is the queen of cliffhangers). It’s nerve-wracking every time. And it is one of the tings that keep it just as exciting as it was in the beginning. As well as the fact that they’re always fast paced, and it never gets boring. Each volume starts off exactly where the last one left off. I always like to re-read the latest volume before the next one releases because you really get thrown right back into the action without any recaps. It really is kind of built like a TV-show, which is so awesome, because something like that is currently in the works! *fangirls* Just Imagine seeing THE Sean Ferro on screen…
