They are similar to Carvers but Slide trucks have their own patented system. Its a spring loaded truck that lets you pump the board to maintain momentum without having to push the board. **Q: how much weight can this hold?** A: It can hold as much weight as you want it’s max is way above any persons weight. The only thing that will happen is the heavier weight thats on the board the more wobbly and loose the trucks will feel **Q: if for some reason the spring were to break can i buy a replacement spring or a complete front truck, thank you** A: Good **Q: How wide is this board? Wheel base?** A: If you’re referring to the diamond carving: At the widest point it’s about 10 inches and about 8 1/2 inches measuring across in between both front and rear truck bolts. The split tail is about 5 inches wide.
