Does this come with one bracket or two (described in #4)? It says two brackets..

It comes with one bracket that has hinges to do the left and the right drawer slide placement. So you only need the one tool to do both sides. It works great and is very sturdy construction. The magnets that hold the drawer slides are powerful. I really like it and its not super heavy either. Also it has a plastic tip on the end of the bar to keep it level against the cabinet.

will this work for face frame cabinet?

Yes it will. You will need to add a piece of wood behind the lip of the face frame to make the drawer slide even with the drawer opening. Then mount the drawer slide to the wood on both sides.
