I'm looking for a less-toxic wallpaper glue.** A: I do not think it would begin to be practical for the cost. I've hung lots of wall paper in my day and you need quite a bit of adhesive. This bottle makes a small quantity of paste at a time. If you look for the product in the candle making supplies you will find the same product for much much cheaper. I bought an entire pound on Amazon for around 15 bucks. And the concentration of powder to water varies, is different than this brand, and would need experimentation. **Q: Does this stay set up after sitting for a couple days. I need for paper mache. Also wondering how sticky it is... Thank you** A: It will dry out if sits too long. I've kept mine ok for a couple of days - I'd cover it though ( which I didn't). If sits I usually have to add more water. Yes it is tacky - I keep a wet towel by me to wipe off my hands. I use it with tussah silk to make tea lights and the silk yarn can really get messed up if I'm not careful.
