Perfect proton pack for 4 year old ghostbuster
After reading the poor reviews. I figured well it is for my grandson's 4th birthday he will probably break it anyway. But to my surprise it was good. The light that so many complained about was fine. It was bright enough to shine the light on the wall in a lit room and bright enough to scare the little ghostbuster in a darken room. The pack itself was also very good not complicated, easy for little hands to load slimmer and shine the light. However it is difficult for him to put the gun back in the holster behind his back, he had been using his shirt previously with a miniature hockey stick. This was a great product for our 4 year old ghostbuster.

Cute Toys - Must have Your Own Imagination
The pack and wand are well detailed. The straps are adjustable and fit my 5yr old son and 2yr old daughter easily. The wand has a door that opens up and allows you to place the supplied Slimer figure inside to then project on the wall. I'm knocking the unit for a weak projector beam which needs to be used in a room completely void of light to be seen well. The lack off additional lights, and maybe sound, are slightly disappointing as well. The "projector" (actually just a light) is weak. Very weak. We thought we had used old batteries, but it turns out the light is just not very bright. :( You need to be in an almost completely dark room to see it. As I had anticipated, my older son wasn't trilled with the ability to project a ghost. He wanted it to be more like the "real" GhostBusters' proton packs, but eventually warmed up to the novelty or projecting a ghost, using his imagination to justify a reason it would do that. With the figure removed, the gun does "shoot" a plain green circle. Still very dim, though. I'm trying to come up with ways to boost the brightness. You can also use other Ecto-Mini figures, purchased separately, to give different shadows.

This toy is really good quality. I got it for my nephew's third birthday - I know not age appropriate. He is obsessed with Ghost busters but there aren't really any toys made for toddlers that are ghost busters themed. He loved this toy so much. There aren't really any small pieces on it and its kind of the perfect size for him. It's heavy enough that its not really breakable but light enough that he can carry it around for hours. It's a really well built toy.

Awesome toy but doesn’t hold up
Fun toy for my toddler who is really into ghostbusters. The cable between the pack & the handheld projector did not last long... took some creativity & disassembling the entire unit to fix the problem. And the cable will break again over time. But my son is getting lots of fun out of it for now. Waaaay over priced but I guess that’s supply vs demand for you.

Decent pack for a decent price
Bought as a present for my nephew; he just recently discovered the old school Ghost Buster cartoons and loves the show. He just turned 7 years old and was quick to rip the pack from the box, and get it configured to blast away at ghosts around the house. I really didn't get a chance to inspect the pack, as it did not leave my nephews back the remainder of the time I was at his birthday party. From what I can tell, it looked to be built decent. Didn't look to be made of cheap plastic, at least it survived my nephew man handling it. He was also quick to figure out how to make Slimer project properly, so bonus points to the product designer who made it simple enough for a 7 year old to figure out.

Don't build them like they used to
It's okay, he likes it but has a few problems with the design that appears to frustrate him during play, especially considering the price. It's basically impossible for him to lock the gun unto the pack while it's on his back, they should have used a hook design instead of a side clamp. He has to take the pack off to attach the gun. The hose is big, clumsy and kinks easy, I'd make it thinner or just remove it, totally in the way. The hose should also attach to the side or bottom instead of the top to keep it from tangling with the gun, making it even harder to holster. The light could be brighter and it should come with more "ghosts". Should also include a trap, not sure if it's even sold but I do see a hook where it may go. The proton backs from the original movie back in the 80's were far better...everything is made so cheap nowadays yet costs twice as much. They could have also added a few cheap LED lights for realism. Still, it's about all we could find that wasn't inflatable. The ones from back in the day are collector's items now, selling for over $1000. I may make some modifications to it to make it easier for him to enjoy.

Cool, and easy to trick out!
This is a pretty cool toy, and perfect for our son's halloween costume. It does have a couple of quirks, like the gun being a little heavy (making the pack carry lopsidedly when it's holstered) and the light isn't all that bright, but it's still good quality. Also, it's basically hollow, so I was easily able to add an EL wire kit I picked up for about $9 on Amazon to make it look more "realistic".

Wasn’t worth the money I paid for it
It looked very cool but for a kid it was too delicate if your kid is a little rough I would break easily

Overpriced for what the item is, but granddaughter desperate for one, wouldn't purchase again.

Mein Sohn hat sich sehr gefreut. Gute Verarbeitung. Sieht realistisch aus. Lieferung kam sehr schnell.
