I love these quick release mounts. They are a tiny bit expensive but if your setting up, tearing down, or just reconfiguring, the ease of operation make it totally worth it. I use these on my tube lights. The plate portion of this quick release is compatible with 1/4-20 screw threads so you may need adapter bushings for your particular application. This also comes as a ball head quick release which are GREAT for light cameras.

This is a fantastic camera rig accessory. One hates to provide negative comparisons, but Edelkrone has a quick-release accessory that I have that has turned out to be cumbersome and "not-at-all quick" when it comes to releasing a camera, or camera with camera cage, from any support - tripod, etc. This ULANZI Claw Arca QR Plate Kit truly is quick, as quick as consumer tripod plates that are commonplace. You can attach the Claw quick-release plate to the camera cage, and the base to the tripod, and voila' - it's easy to snap it in and out. I'll see if I can attach a photo. I highly recommend. Two caveats: it seems the quick-release plate only fits into the base one way - that's not apparent from the design, and it appears it shouldn't matter which way it's aligned - but early use seems to indicate alignment does matter. And two: the material is metal, and solid, and it appears to be sturdy and strong, but I'm not sure whether it could be relied upon to hold a big rig securely - a larger camera, or something like the BMCCPC 6K with a large lens, or larger - so, until I've tested that, I can't recommend this for a seriously heavy, cine-lens rig. But for something smaller, it is genius!

5 Stars. I bought two initially and now plan to buy a few more very soon. These are game-changing devices, I love them. Very sturdy, no play, easy to lock/unlock, small/compact profile, arca swiss usability, and very light weight. Only complaint is the price, seems a little steep per unit IMO. But literally, that is my only complaint. High quality and very functional, perfect for anyone serious about their camera rig's usability and versatilaty. Highly recommended.

My arthritic shoulders and back do not stabilize long telephotos like they used to. I have taken to using a monopod and a ball head to stabilize 250mm and up telephotos. The monopods tend to come without ball heads, and my prior ball head was tending to ‘freeze’. This one is smooth as glass and has a good pair of easily adjusted knobs to enable and secure motion as required. I subtracted 1 star because the two halves do not lock tight. There is a disconcerting amount of play. I can trade the ‘play’ issue for not freezing up and having good rotate / tilt joints. But really the manufacturer could nail 5 stars by having tighter tolerances and better locking with the male / female haves.

This make setting my PhotoBooth really easy. It is strong and it work as it seems. The price is a little high but it worth it. You can add plate or clamps if you’re on a tight budget. It has the option to lock and unlock.

I purchased 2 of these for a Sony ZVE-10 and a Cannon XA35. One camera is pointing at me, and the other is used at an angle or as an overhead camera. So, I am constantly taking it on and off the mount and swapping it to the overhead mount. It works perfectly, the camera is secure, and even at a 90-degree angle, I have no worries that it will stay put. If you need your camera secured and locked to its mount, don't hesitate - this is the solution.

Very high quality as you get what you pay for and I'm very happy with these. If you have multiple cameras and multiple tripods, this is one of the best solutions for very quick mount and dismounts. Be careful and don't do what I did and think you broke one, only to realize the lock get set by accident. Always double check the lock if you have any issues. I've been using these constantly for almost 3 months now and didn't realize just how useful they would be until I got to use them all the time.
