It may not protect whatever component only wants to see 3.2 amp. **Q: The specs for this 10 a breaker says current 3-50 a; rating 10 a. i thought that the circuit breaker would open over 10 a ? 50 a is too much!** A: It's rated at 10 a for ac **Q: Will this work in a predator 4000 watts generator replacing the 13amp breaker** A: I am not 100% sure, but I don't see why not. It's pretty close in specs, so should work. The 15Amp max is a little above your 13Amp, therefore if you have 15Amp wiring, breaker, etc., it should be okay.
